This robe is nice. Dark green with black front designs and a gold design on the back. The design reminds me of a monkey's face, but whatever.
This is a sweet robe. I'll use it forever till I get a Warlock's... then I'm dying that kind of a dark red (I'm not a big fan of purple :P). I saw someone with it in bazaar and it was the absolute coolest thing I'd ever seen, with that skull pattern on the back... /drool.

Ok for the guy that said this should be monk only, if i could just smack you so hard. You are a udder idiot, did you know that? this would be more usuless to a monk than useful. have you ever heard of acrylia reinforced armor? or acrylia studded? both are cheaper on the rathe and are very very useful to monks. I use the acrylia reinforced and its 8str 10sta and 8wis (i could be a little off on those =P) but as my point shows this gives the 8str that that robe has AND THEN SOME. you are no monk, your a wannabe caster, dont shame the monks by being stupid

Actually made me laugh with these two responses.
I'm not sure what aspect of AdamFransisco's post was the silliest. There was the "udder" thing that you picked up on, along with the other typos.
Then there was the fact that he completely missed the fact the original poster was only being sarcastic (see the end of Ueunayyan's post in the brackets).
As if that were not enough, he failed to note that the original post was in 2001, and there was no such thing as acrylia reinforced/studded armor.

This Robe covers my DE Nec from the Neck down... I saw the above pic and would like that same look, I have luclin graphics not really sure what i need to do .. can anyone help?

I'd be willing to bet its an edited picture (it looks kind of faked anyways). Everyone I see wearing this robe covers from the neck down, as well as on my own Nec. The only way to get it to look like that is to learn to use Photoshop ;)
I was wondering if this robe is involved in a quest for another robe. I have heard that you must turn in 5 different robes to obtain another awesome robe. Was told that this is one of the turn in robes, anyone out there that can help me with this?
your thinking about how u can turn the SMR in to get a little bit better robe, as for whatever else i dunno wtf you are meaning =), but was only offering maybe a suggestion of what you heard, hope this helps.

Ok, this is probably a newb question but I was wondering if this robe is the one that has the slit up the front on Dark elf females or is it another robe? I would really like to know and appreciate any responses to this post. I'm curious and kinda go for stats and looks. I have seen other DE females with robes on that are slit up the front but due to peps getting pissy at peps inspecting them I havent found out what the robe is =\

All I have to say is, Paybacks a *****!

Hey, i'm not trying to flame you guys.. anyways my eq has been down for awhile cuz the pc i had couldn't support it but i recently got a new one! :D in the meantime i introduced my friend in real life, to everquest and i have a level 4 necro on his account, for items (that i can remember) i have this robe, batskull earrings, shissar dagger, stein of mogguk(?), and some other decent stuff, if someone has more necro items to trade/sell on Povar gimme an email or post on here, Thanks!

I traded a Staff of Living Sands (worth approx. 1800pp) for this robe. The cleric I got it from was aware that it could sell for more, but he couldn't use it and he really wanted the staff and didn't have any cash, and so he traded for it.
As far as color, on my monitor it looks completely black, pattern barely visible.

This is so possible depending on the uber peeps u know i play on rallos-zek were i know a necro with 3600 hp unbuffed thats more than a 60 rogue at around 3400, this necro also bashes for around 210 easily taking the argo of peeps in group, if ur in denial just learn to live with it cuz not all of us wear skirts

hehe, caster tank is funnest class to play. When you have the pp and resourses to twink like that. I like that haste robe with that 24/40 dagger from chardok. Try it

Well ever since I got a Cloak of Shadows (About 8-10k on fennin ro) I have had quite a bit of money for my level. I bought this robe to twink my enchanter. It's a very nice robe but I sold it and bought an shiny metallic robe for half the price so i could buy other things. But it's a cool looking robe, has good stats, and... well it's expensive but worth it.

i just got this robe from a friend and it is black with green adornments. i think its the coolest robe ever and i'll wear it til i hit the high levels. lvl 41 wiz drinal.

gosh!! this goes to the guy that posted near the top, NOT EVERY FRIGGIN ROBE THAT GIVES MONK STUFF ISN'T FOR MONKS. "Oh look, it gives strength and has low weight..it should be for monks!" after that you should say, "Look! I'm and idiot!" not all robes that are good arn't for monks, casters need the str too to carry stuff. stop acting stoopid.

not to disagree with that earlier person completely, but this is not at all a low wt for a monk with a wt budget. most real nice monk chest slots r sub 1 stone in wt. although my scaly monk sure loves the look of robes when just runnin about, they often sit in the wt reduction bags when it comes down to a real fight. so i can really care less that i cant get them all since they r mostly just for show anyways. hehe ;p

Yeah, casters don't need 8 strength, but Monks need +40 mana? Whatever dude. Casters can still benefit from this attribute. That's 8 more stones worth of items you can carry. I don't dig the weight for the monk anyway. Anyway, my brother gave me this robe (I always get his hand-me-downs), and I must say it's very nice (being at 37 at the moment). Very nice upgrade to my Crystallined Robe!

alls i know is my wiz started with a 67 STR or something like that.. under 70 i know that.. i look for items for him like this INT>mana>resists>str>everything else.. right now i got this robe with +8int 8str neck and golden bracers (+7int/str) and 4int 2str ears and i can carry a lot ... also the guy above me is right this is a phatty upgrade to Crys Robe...

This should be a Monk robe! Us Monks need the +8 STR and the saves! What was VI thinking when they didn't make this a Monk only item! Why would a caster need +8 STR? Us Monks need it! (nobody posted this type of message for this item so I thought I would)

ALL classes could use the saves. And regarding strength... a lot of int casters could use the extra strength so they wouldn't get encumbered as easily. I would love to upgrade my robe to this one. Good thing it isn't monk only ;)

This robe dropped off Grup last night in Disco. He spawned under the orange ceiling.
The first pull (arrow shot by a level 52) brought Grup and about five others. After a corpse run and a new tank, we tried him again. A level 57 pulled the surrounding mobs and then Grup single.
Grup hit me for 187 and had some nasty nukes the first time, but with good MR and FR/CR to be safe we took him down easily the second time and I think only one hard nuke landed. Conned blue and I wouldn't recommend anybody try to solo it.

I consider this robe to be a nice upgrade to the SMR. For someone with 200+ int, +40 mana is the key stat. It will do nicely until planes. Sells for 5-6K on fennin ro.

This item does seem a bit over priced. For the price of this robe you could easily buy enough items to get to 200 int and still have slots and money left over to add to resistance, ac, str, whatever you chose.
I know this thing isn't easy to get but at the same time I would probably just go for a Blighted Robe instead of wasting 12k on this.

40 mana is the equivalent of 4 int. Thus, you're looking at 12 int on this, plus the saves (this is easily one of the best robe's to wear for Nagafen), plus the strength. The strength isn't all that great if it was minor, but 8 strength ups your ability to not be encumbered by a significant amount. Strength is of course not an issue to buy this, it's all of it collectively.
And last, it looks nifty. Which is an issue that effects an item's price. =)

Im not much on robe pricing, but as mentioned above 40 mana is the equivilant of 4 int. But, once you get to 200 int/wis each point of int or wis only counts for 1 mana, thus the price goes up on this robe. And if you think 40 mana isnt much, try putting on 10 items that give +40 mana and see what you get :-)
