after zone in go right , then take another right by torches. this is the room where the mask drops-you will clerar the room many times before primalist pops. it takes about 3 hours of killing before he pops. we have got the mask 2 times and the shoulders he drops 1 time and have camped it many, many times

Ok, this is for a new quest in Grimling Forest. Once all 10 raids have been completed, a slew of Vah Shir will take over the Griming camp closest to the TM tunnel. There is a NPC by the tunnel entrance that gives the quest.
I can copy and paste the log, I just don't have it at the moment. Basicaly, he speaks about trading acrylia and askes for smaples of "Pristine Acrylia Shards." He will give you a staff which is an eight slot container. The shards will drop through out AC, predominately up in the front of the zone. Fill the container with 8 shards and combine the box. Return it to the NPC and receive exp, a faction adjustment and 750pp.
I've read, all though did not look when I did this the first time that the exp gain is = 15% AA exp. I've gained a great deal of shards while farming the Grimling Primalist for his Grimling Skin Mask. I will reveiw the exp gain when I do the second hand in.

Could you tell me where the primalist spawns? I want that mask also, but can't find any decent information on spawn points.

This drops from random grimling trash throughout the Acrylia caverns.
I was camping the first couple rooms near the zone-in and got six shards in one night; came back another night and got two more. All were off of Soulsoothers and Bloodguards, though I wouldn't be surprised if a Deathspeaker showed up with one sometime.
Now to see if it's true that Prospector Keykis is sometimes up even if folks aren't doing the earlier quests...
