These old PoP weapons are becoming more rare these days as hardly anyone goes to these zones anymore. With plat being so cheap to get its just not worth camping these mobs anymore when you can camp those evolving weapons that still sell for 100k.
I didn't buy this for along time because I was afraid of how it would look. For me, as a High Elf this mace does NOT look small. Glad I took the chance on it.
I actually purchased this on the torvonnilous server for only 15k, I DONT KNOW HOW :D but I was wondering, I mean, I like 1h blunt, because then I can use my secondary slot, but I also own a boneshod greatstaff, which i absolutely love!!! I mean, it's so awesome. Im a 49 Druid, so my character has almost reached the recommended level on both, which would be better. They are both awesome weapons. Thanks :)
I bought mine for 14k. Now with the new expansion prices have rose to 30-40k . (My guess the guilds shifted to the new zones and thus less farmed) I will trade this for a windblade on E'ci if someone wishes. Takumar Trekkenfar 56 Luminary of E'ci
the reason the damage/delay is so nice is because it is meant for a char that can only equip one weap....IE pally/sk/cleric...think of a monk or ranger with 2 of these or similar items....that is why it should NOT be for a monk!!..just takes a little thought

I keep hearing the graphic for this is small. It doesn't look like a regular crappy hammer does it?? I know a Frog Shammy that would love this but I'm curious what it looks like. Anyone got any links to pics of this thing equipped?
Cheesy, I MUST know what the name of that UI is and where I can download it :)
P.S. I just got one of these hammers last night and it's sweet :) With the Tactician's Bulwark and my red-and-black armor scheme, it makes my cleric look too deliciously eeeevil to worship Tunare
Picked one of these up last night for 29k on Terris thule. Tried it on a slowed Dark blue mob and it sure felt the pain... Thanks Oodles for selling it. I sure am Pumped...
I recently replaced the Shaman epic in primary with this item. The extra HPs that this weapon give make it better than Spear of Fate in most circumstances. Spear of Fate is now part of my resist gear, or I bring it out briefly to click a DoT on a target sometimes.
This mace has a neat graphic, but I do wish it looked a bit BIGGER. A troll with a tiny little hammer is just not optimal.
I bought one of these in the bazaar on zeb for 25k yesterday, and as a lvl 55 sham with 199 offense, 255 str, 255dex, and a 21 skill in 1hb, I'm only landing about 1 in 4 hits for about 35dmg per hit vs dark blue guards in Katta. I think that for 25kpp mobs ought to take one look at me and just drop dead from the raw shock of my supreme uber-ness, unfortunately the graphic for this hammer is so small on my ogre, you can barely see he's weilding anything, and then when you get right up close and do see it, it looks kind of like a dime store ball peen hammer - which is why I think it's not commanding the respect I'm sure I deserve from the mobs on the receiving end of this torrential beat down... maybe when I hit 30 in 1hb I'll finally start getting the respect I so richly deserve.
I believe it drops from the named mini boss giant in the "air" section of Bastion of Thunder. There are 4, one in each section (sand, air, lightning, water). Their loot tables include 65 spell rune, Spectral Parchment, Ring of Torben and each has a rare loot like this. This one happens to be the "air" giant I think. If you get really lucky they will drop all 4 items on their loot table. The ring is what you combine the four gems in to gain access to the 4 towers where the harder mini boss giants are. They drop yet another ring and more things to combine to get another key and I think I'm completely off topic now, but you get the idea. Hope this helps..

It isn't No Drop, so it can be sold, and I can tell you that this 49 Cleric would like it as an upgrade to his Dark Ember! The Wis, Sta, HP and Mana on this baby are sweet, and the damage and ratio mean that I might do a wee bit o' damage here and there. There are a few critters we can solo. Especially from horseback and with a KEI... You don't want it? I'll be happy to take your hand-me-downs. LOL

Another little tidbit. Most of the items that I already own which have reccomended levels on them usually only lower the HP and MANA bonuses. My personal guess is that the red stats will be HP55 MANA40, all other stats in the black. At least that is what I've mostly seen. And if any of the other stats are red, then guess what? They'll get better as I get older. This is a serious upgrade from my Dark Ember all around, and would prolly last me until my Epic, if not beyond for a while. If you loot one on Zeb and don't think it's worth keeping, just remember... Clerics are a charitable donation. Give us your hand-me-downs and write it off on your Norathian Taxes! ROFL
Look at the weapon he has... a Dark Ember, +5 wis.
This item, used only 7 levels below its recommended level, would have around a 15% reduction in stats (not exact, but close enough). 15% off of 12 is 10.2, rounded to 10... and +10 wis is, indeed, an upgrade from +5 ;)
Unless, of course, this happens to be one of those items labeled with a Recommended Level but is actually a Required Level in disguise and he won't even be able to equip it until 56...

Nah, this is just a 1hb weapon. The staff Karana welds has got to be a 2hb weapon. The size of Karana's staff is just too great to think that it would be a 1 hander for a mere mortal.
