the proc on this weapon is a dd wizard spell that has a stun effect with interupt. nice for taunt even with resist .
that is the one problem with this. force shock gets resisted pretty easily but maybe it uses the wawrrior lvl as its casting lvl so it will have a better chance of succeeding on a hit.
either way it is a pretty nice weapon

Well, what I find most interesting is, Verant felt that it was nessicary to include 8 intelligence with the weapon. The only intelligence-based class listed right now is Bard. Do bards really use that much int? Well, yes and no, but do we really have to focus on it? Not unless you're charm-kiting 24/7. =D

Actually, for bards with Fading Memories (PoP AA memory blur/feign death), every last scrap of int that can be gained without losing other vital stats is important.
The positive side of putting WIS and INT on items obviously aimed at non INT/WIS classes is when these people have to do trade skills.

I can't stand all you pallys/sks whining about how you get screwed. Since PoP release, I've seen some very nice 1 handers go to pally/sk. Rangers, one of the true dual wielders wasn't listed. Not too mention all the uber 2 handers that pallys and sks get. I for one am glad that there is a 1 hander back to the 4 classes that really use it. Go get yourself an awesoeme 2 hander, or a new nice 1 hander and an uber shield. If you're getting this item in the first place, you can surely get something else and quit whining, and as for the name thing. Um, rangers are nature boys, storms are our realm, so pallys shouldn't be so gifted, no matter what their diety. It's a good wpn for all classes listed and I don't see it as an oversight or ******** that pallys/sks aren't listed.

Given theyre not the pinacle of what a paladin might want to use, but just from a RP standpoint I would love to swing a sword that called the fury of my chosen diety upon my foes.
Question, Why is a sword called Natures defender a knight only weapon. The name implies Ranger or Druid despite the fact that there are palys who serve Tunare or Karana. Clerics and Palys watch over the spiritual aspect of thier gods relm, Druid and rangers the more physical. The knights are the last that should complain about which class the names of weapons imply. They have some of the best named weapons in the game and many ipmly other classes. If you want to know the truth, Great Blade of Storms sounds like a 2hs weapon. But people shouldn't complain about every single item that they think a certain class should be able to use or be the only ones useing when there are so many other items out there.

He should go and look at the weapons that Vallon and Tallon Zek are dropping... very little for warriors, mostly for classes that have nothing to do with them.

If Paly's had been added, then they would have SKs as well - because it has INT as well as WIS. For all intents and purposes, it's not that big of a deal. We knights (I'm guessing you're an SK) should really stick to 2h weapons...the overall damage and dps is just much better.

What a weapon.... great for any of the classes but i can see this going to the guilds better tanks (maybe not main tank but second or third tank might want for agro reasons) Good work VI keep it up
