I got one of these from the giant camp in south ro. It dropped before I could finish clearing out the camp, so they seem to be fairly common.
Is anyone still making Royal Temper for Heraldic armor anymore?
If you are an armor making Tradeskiller, Questing Enchanter, or looking to make that special needle, would you, or would have liked to, buy this item at the bazaar… What price would you be willing to pay for the convenience of buying all you need in one shot? What would you pay so you wouldn’t have to farm them? Would you consider checking the bazaar for this item at all or would you go right to farming them yourself? Have you ever bought them at full stacks of 20, or do you only buy them in smaller amounts, and like, how many at a time?

These are used to make the Fier'Dal Needle for the new wood elf cultural tailoring. One of these and one embroidering needle.
Now that doesn't happen to me often....but I obviously didn't know what these were for and, remembering they came from a trivial mob (Sand Giants that I bumped into during a crossing of Sro)I sold 2 of these for 5 pp both. :D Someone got lucky, I guess.
Yeah these sell for 450pp to 700pp on Karana server too. Maybe you just found the server that isn't full of greedy poeple Perijn lol. I would love to find these for 20 to 250pp that would be great I have a level 60 Human pally that is trying to work up Smithing for culture but man it's not easy. So far I've gotten 3 Royal Tempers made, haven't made anything with them yet b/c my pallies skill is only 168 right now.
I usually buy sunlight when the price drops below 200pp, and have occasionally seen as low as 75pp. The people who charge 500 are just plain silly, as these are not that rare in SF, and the mobs are not that tough.

These are also part of the enchanter 1.5 quest, that could be part of the reason they sell so high.

Looks as though these are going from 400PP - 700PP on Druzzil per vial. Though most are 500PP.
Hard to believe peeps are buying/selling for only 25pp. Must be friends of yours?? If it's a stranger and definately if its a rival guild then 500pp is the price you will pay to me. If you dont want to pay the price...then spend the time hunting it down. Time = money...which do you have??

On Antonius Bayle these babies sell for 50-250PP so looks like we're cheap ;)
I think most things are a lot cheaper on AB then elsewhere, this site often gives us a false feeling of wealth...

Yeh AB is one if not the cheapest server around everything is often a lot cheaper on AB .. not suure why ahve comapred several servers to ab

I have been making Heraldic armor for a few months no just about 2 only tho. I farm for sunlights on my druid in Oasis and some times in SRo. Oasis is ok to farm for sunlights about 1 ever 3-4 kills. But in SRo the SGs r rarer unless some one is hunting for the AC and then the SGs seem to pop more from what i have seen they drop them there ever 2-3 kills and they SGs pop faster than in Oasis as long as ppl r hunting AC. On my server me and my friend pay around 275-350 the most but most the time only 300 for me but some ppl sometimes pay up to 400pp each but most the time thats only when they need one realy bad.

O yea some ppl have told me that the vampires in Mistmore drop some sunlights i have never looked into it tho. Can any one tell me if that is true?

Is Sunlight or Royal Temper really used in a quest somewhere? If so, that might explain the ludicrous prices some people on my server have been asking for the stuff. (350pp and up tonight) As a human smith capable of hunting the stuff myself, I'd never in a million years pay more than 50pp each, and then only if desperate. 25pp is what i've offered in the past and bought quite a few from people hunting in Skyfire.
No quest, its just that royal temper is used to make heraldic armors. I have sold heraldic BP and greaves for 25k and higher. I typically won't buy if its over 250pp per vial, but have been known to get desperate and pay 275

I just got one after soloing in SF all night. Very rare it would seem.

Very common drop off the SGs though, it's just that the SGs are rare. :p I've never really killed in SF but I'd assume since chromatics are pretty common it IS a rare drop off them. Nice little money maker for newbies that farm merchants for stuff because most people don't want them or know what they are for.

this is used for human cultural smithing to make fierce heraldic armor. fierce is some of the best rallos zek armor you can get . it uses 2 essence of sunlight per ring and up to 3 rings per peice per attempt. these items are not trivial at 250 skill either. the other big component is blue diamonds.

Apologies, but Heraldic armor (Fierce or otherwise) requires but one Royal Temper per combine attempt. The Royal Temper requires, as you say, 2 Essence of Sunlight, as well as 1 griffenne blood and 1 Rain Water. The Per Ring temper ingredient is the Celestial Temper, requiring a Blue Diamond each.
