Does anyone actually know for a fact what recipie(s) this item is used in? I have scoured EQ websites for what this item is actually used it, and cannot for an answer besides for Antonican Javelin's which ONLY HUMANS can forge.

It's used in several recipes. You can see those recipes if you have a premium subscription to the site.

It takes 2 small bricks of medium quality ore and a water flask. But it costs about the same to buy it from a merchant, especially if you consider the failures you might encounter. In fact, they cost about 4.5pp each from a vendor, whereas they cost about 4.5pp each to make.

I was under the impression that this could be crafted out of various other elements.
