Acrylia Breastplate  

 

The main cost of this piece is the temper, buying it will hugely cut into the profits of making it.
The windstone drop in TM but the essence of wind is very easy to get from the Elemental Island in Twilight Sea, a great place to get alot of parts for tempers.
The acrylia needless to say id best found in Acrylia caverns but the caves south of TM hold a few and Far easier fights

So you want an Acrylia Breastplate, but you don't have the skills to make it? Well, if you can find all the ingredients yourself, you can hire some craftsmen to help you. Consider this guide to be a quest report for the Acrylia Breastplate. You're going to need to know a superb blacksmith, a very good brewer, a decent tailor, and a 29+ enchanter. I've highlighted the items you'll need to collect for these craftsmen. Here's the steps to take:


1. Go to Tenebrous Mountains and rough up the Grimlings in the caves until you get two windstones and enough acrylia to make three blocks and one large brick of acrylia ore.

2. Head over near the Katta entrance in Tenebrous and pull any Cral Ligi Soldiers or Meeda Hune Soldiers you find until you get one essence of wind.

3. Hire a 29+ enchanter to make one vial of clear mana for you.

4. Put the two windstones in a mortar and pestle and click combine to make crushed windstone. (I believe this step is a no-fail combine.)

5. Have a good brewer combine the essence of wind, crushed windstone, and vial of clear mana to make the combine acrylia temper. Reports say this combine is trivial to brewers at less than 130.

6. Go to East Commons and whoop up on some spiderlings and lions until you have two spiderling silks and one low quality cat pelt (a LQ wolf or bear pelt also works).

7. Have a decent tailor combine the two silks to make one silk thread, and then combine the thread with the pelt to make one leather padding.

8. Find a very good smith to handle the remaining parts. Some of the combines are easy, but the final combine is reported to trivial around 240. He will use the large brick of acrylia to make acrylia rings, and eventually one acrylia chain jointing. He will also turn the three acyrlia blocks into three folded sheets of acrylia.

9. Assuming there are no mistakes, the smith will do the final combine as follows:

combine smithing hammer + combine acrylia temper + acrylia chain jointing + leather padding + the breastplate mold of the appropriate size + 3 folded sheets of acrylia = Acrylia Breastplate


If you're interested in making any of the other Acrylia Plate armor pieces, the steps are very similiar; the only difference will be the amount of acrylia blocks you need to collect (1, 2, or 3) and the mold the smith will use.

according to EQ traders, most of the pieces required take 130 Skill. in potery, smith and so on. these are VERY hard to make. cuase the items you need drop all over luclin. however. i think the final combine can be done at 140 skill so it says
