Okay, before i say anything, i'll say this. THIS IS A VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY DANGEROUS NECKLACE.You can eaqsily accidently click it, while fighting an animal mob, and. BOOM!!!! the animal flees, leaving you standing there dumbfounded, until A)you figure out what just happened and flee like mad or B) Ya don't flee and the 1 animal comes back with, ohh, say 1+999,999 mobs with it.
Easy solution to this problem you are having is:
Pop it in your backpack. That way, you can't easily accidentally click it.

got both of these this afternoon. the listing for usable races for the disciple symbol above has been updated to include Iksar. and yes they have to be equiped in the neck slot to function. funn little clicky things... hehehe
also after turning in the initiate symbole for the disciple, I handed in 4 more livers to the original high priest and got the initiate symbol again, so have both symbols.

With this (or any of the Symbol quests) is it possible to do the Initiate part again after you receive the Disciple Symbol? You would then have 2 items to buff your stats and 2 spells at your disposal. Any ideas?

Yes. It is very possible to do the quest again, and receive the previouse item. This is done often with the ring and shawl quests. I have done it with my Tunare symbol as well as my brell symbols.
The tunare gives you manaless root, and the previouse ones give you a poison disease buff.
The Brell one gives you Unlimited summoned Brell's Blesses Ale, and the other gives you strengthen.. wich isnt bad considering it is a str buff and our armor is HEAVY! =)
So do the quests over again and get yourself some great items!! Each item is unique therefore you can have one of each!

Speaking of which... my cleric has a Dread Forged Shield which is a quested shied in Paineel. I worship Karana, but get to carry this really decent shield around, and I think it is rather amusing that a cleric of good is carrying around something with the symbol of Cazik Thule. Also ripped through his home yesterday and completely wiped out Fear (obviously with a bunch of guild members and friends) but stopped short of CT himself... CoP got that honor... he's a toughie.
Finally Verant decided to make use of the fact that we worship a certain deity in the game. Please, if anyone knows how to bug Verant about this.... make them add some drops that ALL ALL can use under their Deity... As an Iksar SK, I would love to have items that represent my deity, as my character is supposed to be a fanatic anyway. The limiting trait of the deity will most likely bring the prices of these items down, so that mid levels can obtain them AND/OR quest for them. It would only make the game so much more interesting...

Nope. The symbols of Cazic will NOT click from the inventory, they must be worn.
