The Amulet of the Void can be recharged in a Box of the Void with a Class 5 Mana battery both of which can be bought from the Key Master on the first Island.
This item is now called Amulet of the Void.
The clicky uses no reagent and its a class 5 battery + box to recharge.

I too am wondering whether you need a port stone to cast this alter: sky spell?? Can someone answer this question?

As with all the air items anymore, this stinks
im sorry to say but not all air items suck unless you are from FoH or a guild thats equivilent there are some very nice quested items that come from air
many melee classes have haste belt quests there and those belts are some of the fastest more easily attainable haste items along with this item for wizards some items can save you mana only a newby can see only stats on items and compare them to items they have seen drop from ToV

Actually it can be re-charged....and btw it is an INSTANT cast evac...you will never die with this thing.
I believe it is 75pp to recharge it, it is recharged in Air
