As a Wizzy, I want this because of it's focus. 25% cast reduction on DMG spells! Sounds like a good deal. Am I reading that correctly?

No, alas you're not. Affliction effects refer to DoTs - so in this case, 25% mana saving on all DoT spells lvls 1-44.
The best you can probably get is an item with Mana Preservation II effect on it, but that's only a 10% saving - but will affect all spells, not just nukes.
Alternatively, I believe the mage-summoned earrings are 15% mana saving, but affect dmg spells only and are, obviously, norent.

So what your are saying is that since it says this focus must have a duration of "6 ticks", it only represents the DoT's? I did not see the duration requirement. Thank you for the correction Inusan! That makes a big diff!

im 51 shaman i can solo pull all that area from noble to water elemental.Frog are green/light blue and blue for a 51.
noble is hard to kill because he hit for around 100, i forget how many.And he can mezz me with 141mr so this poof my pet.He got about 2/2.5k hp.

Does anyone know exactly where he spawns at i'm a 45 Shadow Knight and need this for my lvl 49 spell Life Leach if anyone could plz tell me where his spawn is that would greatly help thx much )

actually you wontbe able to use this for a lv 49 spell the spell range is 1~44

The noble spawns on the live side of guk near the Keep.

nice item.. at what lvl can i group in lguk and get this? will the group let me have it causwe im an enc. or would we have to roll? lol pretty dumb question but answer it dammit!

Even if it were chanter only, you'd still have to roll on it in a pick-up group 99% of the time. It's actually a item for any class, not just chanters, thanks to the resists.
Nice stats. I am going there tonight to check around, not too familiar with LGuk. But hey, that's half the fun. =)
