Drop from Possessor Gooplart from pre-vamp Acrylia Caverns. Only server that has pre-vamp AC is Al'Kabor as the poor Macintosh peeps not only don't have anything newer than PoP----they lack zone parity for their existing zones. So, if you want to get the boots---better be a Macintosh user.

Since the revamp of Acrylia Caverns, I don't think these drop anymore, I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure they don't.
Pardon me for getting off topic, but might we discuss who drops this? Things like level? Class of mob? Location?

This would make you swim faster than anyone at max skill if they didnt have them as well.

If yer fighting in a water zone, you would sub these out regardless of what boots you are wearing, don't be silly. Any eb item is worn for the effect, NOT for the ac/stats. I use a fb earring, no ac and 2 dex, but it doesn't matter. Using this item in place of your 19ac boots (a loss of 13 raw ac) in SG ain't gonna do squat in terms of how you handle that zone. Get real =)

Nice effect, and handy to have for travelling, I suppose; but at only 6 AC, they are not really a viable option for use as your primary EB source while fighting ... especially at the level needed to acquire them. FB ear and the new EB necklace from The Grey are much better options.
Why are those better options?
For the earring I'd have to remove solstice earring class equipment, for the neck slot I drop int/hps/mana+perma see invisible (which you love in SG for example). Really depends on what item you have to remove to get your perma EB.

If that's your whole basis of making the decision for an EB item, get a Lodizal Shell Shield

Since swimming skill affects your rate of speed in the water, these are sort of like wet jboots combined with a scuba tank. That weight hurts, though
Well, they are Waterlogged. It would be poor roleplay if they weren't heavy. I'd keep a pair around, for those underwater situations. beats relying on the spell, and having it dispelled mid fight. Of course, there are better EB items, but I don't have one yet, so these would do in the meantime.
