Sounds like this was one of many hammers that lost their ability to go in the range slot a very long time ago.

Does the recipe still function as known here?

Are there still racial restrictions on the combine?

We need a modern item window pic of this item.

A pic of someone wielding it would be nice as well.

Ok, first off I gotta say; yes this is a pretty cool range slot weapon. I've currently got an ebon war spear but if I didn't, I'd have this. Also, for what it does its pretty cheap. Ok, getting to the point. If you wanna make one, you've gotta be able to travel a little. I know any barbarian blacksmith who has ever worked on... well anything, knows that halas is NOT the place to buy your goods. :-)
So, put on your walkin shoes or get a port to North K and travel to High hold Keep to get the medium sheet metal. The frost temper is possibly the hardest thing for a low lvl player to get. It takes essance of winter (a drop off of two creatures in the whole game. Tundra Yetti of Velious... and Ice Giants in Ever Frost and Perma Frost.) and ice goblin blood which is a drop off the ice goblins in perma frost. To make the temper you have to brew... and this stuff trivials at 135 so you've gotta either be a master brewer or know one. The Ivory is found kinda all over if you keep your eyes open. Drops off several mobs including rarely off of ice giants. If you want to just find a vendor who can sell you the stuff all the time you'll have to go to Kunark. This sounding like a pain yet? Why do you think they call it ever quest? :-)
Ok, once you get the ivory you must either imbue it yourself (its a shaman spell at lvl 29) or find someone who can. (this is what I normally do since I just hit 21 tonight) Then you buy the Mace mold and an oak shaft... (the shaft I know can be purchased in Halas but the mace mold you may have to travel I can't remember where I got mine... possibly west K at the barbarian vendors near the north K zone border) Ok, once you've spent a couple days gathering all this stuff, go to the cultural forge in halas and put in the following: One frost temper, One imbued Ivory, One oak sharf, one medium Q sheet of metal, and one mace mold... close your eyes and hit combine. From what I understand this stuff trivials at 188 so I would recomend being trivial on all banded at least before you give this a shot.

Why doesn't anybody post the Recipe for making these? Knowledge is lost by those unwilling to share
