On another site, they had a "Researcher's Badge" with the following stats:
Armor Class 4
Boosts +3 STR, +3 WIS, +3 INT, +3 AGI, +15 HP, +15 MANA
There was no other explanation with it but it said that its a quest in qeynos... Anyone try the upgrade since the Aug. patch?

SHM want this item as well.... its the best AC item in hands slot for SHM in the game save for ToV, planar, and other very high end stuff. By very high end i mean around 58-60. These its feasible to buy in EC by the time you are 40. And if not bought then killed by anyone 49+ |

I had to kill Freeport guards to get 2 militia helms for the SK darkforge quest. It was a piece of cake as a 35th SK. I cast invis to get by the tougher guards. Um EQ doesnt have a story either. im sure that AO will have a conclusion, but not an end to the entire world. Allmost all items from Velk's Labrinth (Crystal Chitin, Silver Chitin, Barbed Ringmail, Spider Fur, etc...) got an upgrade. Many stats like AC and STR were doubled! |

Best way to gain faction in FP is to kill one of the sets of guards. Here it is:
TO be KOS in commons, WFP and EFP kill:
Commons guards, thats the toll booth lads at 35,
Reskin and Tulin at 25 in east commons and all the guards in EFP and WFP, (at about 40).
