This IMHO is by far the best zone from early 20's to around 30, with one condition: If you can get the EE camp and do it solo, you're in for a ton of XP and loot. Consider the drops on the Eyes:
1) up to 4pp or more in coin
2) gems valued between 3pp and 7pp are common

If you are in wolf form this guy will alway agro on you. He is a bit of a lunatic attacking at random. If he doesnt automatically attack you you can hail him and he will talk rudely to you. I have killed him about a dozen times once I gave up trying to snare. Trust me, he won't snare or root ever. W |

Dark blue to lvl 41 shaman. Both times I killed him, he joined in on a fight I was having with something else. Resisted maliasement and Togors insects, but didnt resist DOTs and DDs. Dropped fairly easily. |

All I know is if you are a ranger and have killed no animals this zone should be pretty benign/ However, being a tailor mayself, I established a wonderful train when I entered this zone. It was actually somewhat amusing having such a variety of bestiary chasing me....the damn panthers are hella fast |

groups are tough to get (On brell at least) because there are so many solo/duo folks there. As for killin em solo it would be extremely tough to impossible. I have never played a pally, but I was about 40 or so before I felt comfy soloing em with my mage.

Somebody really needs to put the gnoll courier up here on the bestiary. Everybody can talk about the brewer, and Elgnub, but the courier is the baddest mob in this dungeon. Most likelt 30 or so, around there. My 48 warrior with about 940 ac was taking occasional shots for 50+ even a few for 70. |
