Just came here and went to see if I could get trained by the SK trainers here and they won't have anything to do with Dark Elves. Is there anyway to get enough faction so they will train me and if so how or am I just out of luck and can only get training in my home lands? |

Wrong Lens, sorry. The Lens of Lord Soptyvr(sp?) are not the Lens used in the Staff of Observers quest. In fact, it was said here on Allakazam's beastiary. |

About a month ago or so, mid January, I was wandering around down there on quest business at lvl 6, I think. I ran into a dread corpse that killed me in no time flat, in one of the supposed "safe for lowbies" areas. I went back to get my corpse and was killed by the same dread corpse 3 m |

I keep reading conflicting reports on this issue.
I am a wood elf druid. I have never been to Surefall. I have never killed a bear ANYWHERE and only killed a couple wolves as a newb in Kelethin. Am I or am I not KOS here? I would hate to find out the hard way. |

You'll be fine... in fact, this is your "home away from home" from Kelethin. There are no factions on animals in general in EverQuest, except the Surefall Glades bears specifically have their own specific faction. Just don't hunt in Surefall and you'll be fine. |

I got jumped by one tonight that conned even to my 50 druid. He was hitting for 142, and backstabbed for 422.

Well Shralok is suposed to randomly drop one of these every so often but on my first 3 kills of him i got the idol and the halberd its just luck of the draw.

You can kill the running paladins in Western Karana, as well as Brother Estle and Brother Chintle (but NOT Brother Trintle), also in WK. All are located near the zone border to Qeynos Hills. the faction you're looking for is Bloodsabres. But be forewarned: this will make you KoS to the Qeynos Guards |

Yes, you can get through Kith at night by hugging the walls, unless you are unlucky enough to be there when someone down in the valley is trying to escape the wrath of the undead by climbing self-same walls! LOL... Got deader than a mashed housefly and as quick.

Yeah, it also droped a bone shield and a bone spear 6dmp 29delay. I sell them at gypsies camp, it worth several platinums.

I have tried all the tricks to traverse this zone at night. SoW, Invis, Invis to undead, Keeping up high on the walls... the bottom line is that if you're lucky, you might make it. But if you happen to meet the Risen Commander, you better be very high level.
