From EverQuest Live: Upcoming for August We have an update tentatively scheduled for August 11, 2005. The Network status page will update once there is a date set in stone. The only thing we can say about this upcoming update for now is that the Frogloks have a new ally...

I'm wondering where/when the next battle will be, the Trolls have no reason to fight anymore, but the Barbarians are stationed and ready, so are the Dark Elves and Ogres planning to keep fighting or what?

There are six kingdoms of biological classification:
1) Eubacteria
2) Archaebacteria
3) Protista
4) Fungi
5) Plantae
6) Animalia

This does not include viruses as they are not currently considered "alive"

Note that this is using the newer clasification system. In the older classification system Kingdoms one and two are combined in the kingdom Monera.

There is an even newer one being devised for scientists to have fist fights over that will classify life into 3 Domains (super kingdoms) and 12-18 Kingdoms. Alas the poor virus are also not included as they are still considered not life. They have been left out yet again. Viruses are the iksar of biological nomeclature.

Gukta is no more. The Trolls have retaken their ancestral home and torn down the remembrances of the Frogloks. The Guktans, suffering more than just defeat, have retreated into the Rathe Mountains. They have built a tent city to accommodate their needs, but there is something obviously wrong. Many of their friends and family were touched by the curse laid upon the battlefield by the Warlord Ykesha. These poor souls have been corrupted. They have been torn from the breast of Mithaniel Marr and grasped by the clutching claws of Innoruuk and turned to evil. Yet they are cousins and brothers to the remaining Guktans and so they live together, trying to make the best of their fate.

- Ancient Mist Root Stone, Refracted Dusk Amethyst, Ancient Life Root Stone, and Refracted Dawn Amethyst are now usable in the hands and wrist slots.
- All potions that were recently introduced now have a required level instead of a recommended level.

- Changed the required count for the kill and loot elements on the Dragons of Norrath mission "Diseased Pumas". This change was to fix a discrepancy between the number of items required for task completion compared to the number of kills and items looted that the task said you needed.

any way, vah-shir r animal people and they r indiff to all, true, but still...that means there is no animal-human racism goin around, is there? i thought frogs were a good race so dont that mean-i better jez look and find out. today is the 11th, DUH i am stupid!

Hope sony get off BUTT and fixes:

1. ranger epic ( PH not spawning in gfaydark )
2. remove high elves in gfaydark ( war over with)
3. add a line of "pacify' to ranger spells
4. raise PP drops on mobs ( they to low compared to other sony games.

Hope you come back...here's your answers.

1. Helped a friend with this yesterday. You're not killing the right one. He spawns at +1500, +500. That should solve the problem.

2. I don't think the war is quite over...and even if it is, for RP purposes the High Elves may just stay in GFay. After all. They just learned that they're not immune to wars.

3. At lvl22 we get Harmony, at lvl39 we get Harmony of Nature, and at lvl68 we get Tranquility of the Glade. For RP reasons, harmony fits for Rangers and Druids, Pacify fits for Clerics and Paladins and Enchanters.

4. There's other ways to earn PP, and it fits better for EQ to have such low pp drops. You don't want to carry around tons of pp. Why would the mobs want to?

A lot of stuff SoE does, you just have to think RP for it and it makes more sense.

In case you come back and read this that spawn is working just fine it just sux. There is one single orc pawn that is spawning just a little north of kelethin for spawn spot. Then he roams i know this for fact just did the ranger epic in like 2 days start to finish last week. Also did a friends druid epic last week and had no prolem with this spawn for both epics took about 1 hr each time killing that orc pawn to get the girls to spawn but other than that it went fine.

Wow, looks like you are a ranger. Are you trying to get the Orc Spawn PH in Gfay, b/c he is spawning about every 13 minutes on the Stromm server.

Innoruuk. Yes, thats's right the new ally is Innoruuk. Frogloks will now be able to be Zol (Necro), Bok (SK), and Gaz (Rogue). These new classes will worship Inny only. The Frogloks will also be moving to the southern part of the Rathe Mountains (Which is now a newbie zone - no more HG's!).

Oh and by the way, Frogloks are not Animals. They are Amphibians.

Yes there is still Hill Giants in Rathe. Just go to the upper left corner (close to Oggok/Feerrott entrance). Ran right into them yesterday =)

Kingdom Animalia or Plantalia Only 2 exist. So Yeah even Cinder Hornets are Animals. So are we.
