They pay taxes.
They fund a military.
They believe they have democracy.

I have been reading several of these posts and here are my responses: First off Gundarson thank you for your reply to Wilf i completely agree with you and if i ever met you in RL i would shake your hand, Secondly, there is a lot of criticism regarding the way this situation is being handled, our men and women in the military risk their lives everyday to protect your ungrateful ***** so that you can sit there in your nice comfortable AMERICAN built home with your refrigerators stocked with food bought from AMERICAN stores with AMERICAN money and criticize our actions. And if you dont live in this country tell me this: how long do you think your country would last without OUR AMERICAN money floating around in your economy? Third i would like to thank Canada for their help during the September 11th attacks they were kind enough to allow our planes to land on their airfields when the country was shut down. Most countries would have just scoffed at us. Fourth, for those of you who enjoy insulting our great nation i dare you to come say it to the average, hard-working American's face and see what happens. Fifth, for those countries who were cheering to the news of the 9/11 attacks perhaps we should just pull all of our money out of your country and then laugh as your country falls into a depression. Sixth and final note: I am an American and very proud of that fact and consider myself to be very lucky, although i am not in the military as of now i will still do everything in my power to protect this great nation from any threat, domestic or foreign, and to those who would attack us just know this you wont simply be facing a country you will be facing the most powerful nation in the world and millions of people who are willing to fight to the death to protect this country. America will prevail, we will rise out of the ashes of this tragedy and the light of our great nation will shine brighter than ever before. We have done nothing but help all these mid east countries, hell countries all over the world, and in return we get spit on by almost every other country in the world. Oh they love it when we give them our money but the first chance they get they stab us in the back (kinda remind you of someone in EQ??) sadly i cant say i was suprised that this happened but you can bet i was furious. Any one who criticizes the way America is handling the situation can kiss my a**. I live in Slat lake City I dont expect to live past the olympics. If I do Gods got something for me to do if not I know this war started a long time ago i refuse to let them tell me how to remember history. Weather or not i make it fact is its gonna get worse. why because our borders are too damed open and we will feed every other country and let our children and elderly and vets live in the streets to be politicly correct.

The events that have unfolded before us have everything to do with our own actions in this country. We have done things to the middle east that give them reason to be unfavorable to us, but that gives them no right to kill innocent civilians. If they want war, then declare it openly, stop hiding away in the shadows. We can face up to our actions, and must now do so. I ask this....What will you do when it comes time to face your ememy. They are not on the street to be attacked, those are our own people, but what will you do when you are on a plane or in a market or anywhere this could happen again, what will you do to protect yourself and this great nation? I will stand up and protect it with my life, what about you? Just how much do the "Stars & Bars" mean to you?
