Today is my birthday and I have a story for you.

Every year around my birthday there is a street fest called Iron Horse, it celebrates the towns railroad heritage. There are the usual things, rides, games, booths, beer tents, and stages. You know all the things you would expect at a festival.

Last year on my birthday I happened to be up there watching some local bands, when they came around for 50/50 tickets. Normally I don't gamble, but it was my birthday, and I was feeling pretty good about it. So I bought 20 bucks worth of tickets. Well In the end I walked away with a little over 300 bucks after winning the 50/50 draw. Awesome right...

Well last night I was out celebrating my birthday, and had to stop and play again. I had that same lucky feeling and figured what the hell. I bought 20 bucks worth of tickets, and patiently waited. About 45 minutes later and a cool band named the MUDMEN (they have bagpipes in a rock band, its pretty awesome) I again found myself walking to the stage to collect my winnings. 275 Bucks.

2 Years in a row, I guess lightning does strike twice, and I guess ill have to play again next year, because well I have to defend my title!.

Happy Labor Day (for those in the US)! :)
I will spend it laboring away at work. Perfect, right? Right-0!
What are the rest of you doing today?

I need to go fight in some campaign battles when I get home tonight.

And then there are those moms that gave new meaning to "Labor" day today. And those kiddos will be hearing about it for the rest of their lives....

Cookout at the in-laws, capped off by a slice of my wife's caramel apple cheesecake.

Also got the day off tomorrow, where I'm hoping to possibly GoV my RDM to 49, thus having a whole two subjobs available for my WHM.

I logged in today for the first time in about 8 months. The graphics seems to have improved slightly, more detailed I think less blur. Also the spell list looks incredible, I know because I need to write about a hundred macros again...Also can't play without a controller, so Ill need to do that as well.

Oh well maybe see you kids around. I don't get much game time anymore so ya maybe see you on weekends.

Got my glasses today. But first a little back story.

Went to renew my license on wednesday last week and they told me I could not do that because I failed the eye test. (pretty poorly mind you) so I went to get my eyes done proper and get glasses (so i can drive).

I must say it was an excellent choice, to give you an example of what it did for me, it is like switching from standard definition to high definition. I should have done this years ago...in fact I intended to but as a professional procrastinator I pushed it off until deemed required.

Also does anyone know how to back up macros to the server, then recall them? and can I do that from one computer to the other. I just noticed my old PC has FFXI still on it, so I could theoretically do that...if it can be done.

You most likely saw me trying to skill summoning (one of my only two uncapped skills, other than crafts), or standing around and slacking off on doing that because GODDAMN I hate skilling this crap

I usually /poke people I recognize, but if they emote at me first I start /panicking because it means they thwarted my plans.
