You definitely can. Post it up in the off-topic section for now, until we open a more appropriate section.

Hello all,
My name is TriggerSad... 55... Yeah... My username was taken... Just call me Trigger... Not Trig though, that just sounds lame. :p
Any-who, I've been playing Guild Wars since the release of Factions, and have been active, or at least I've tried, for the last year now. I'm a strong believer of the "When it's done" motto, and will uphold it until the day I die! Unless the game comes out before then... Don't judge me.
Any-who (again), I hope I can get along with all of you (as I've known most of you from other sites), and we can make this into the greatest fan-site ever! We shall assimilate all other into our covenant, and burn those who stand to oppose. And before they even get a chance to lay a final blow (even if they can), we'll tear open a portal in time and plunge them into the future where our greatness is law. If they're foolish to find a way to the past, well... They'll have to face the wrath of GUILDFANS!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
...
...
...
Don't judge me... again...

Yours truly,
TriggerSad... 55... aka. Sr. Kick@$$!

Well as everyone else has posted here!

My game name is Kernave in most MMO games, I've played Everquest, Lotro, DDO, Warhammer, WoW and returning to Guild Wars recently. Kernave came from having the name Knave where it was pronounced by many as Kernave, so I changed it when making my next character and have stuck with it since :P

Can't wait for Guild Wars 2, my life will then be complete... haha

Hello all!

Someone has my username, too, so I decided to go with what my Facebook account says. Anyway, I am Kvinna over on Guru (like that wasn't totally obvious) and just wanted to come and say hello and all that jazz! :)

I'm Greibach, also a member on guildwars2guru. I have played Guild Wars since the first or second week of release, and am eagerly awaiting GW2. I am sometimes outspoken, but I would like to think of myself as reasonable (but then again, who doesn't?) I have a lot of trust in ANet, and have played GW2 at PAX this year. Hope to enjoy chatting with you all.

Alright everyone :D

Names Matt, British, 18, studying Architecture and Planing in Bristol, England.

Had quite a few MMO experiences in the past, from Runescape (2 years), WoW (3 years), Runes of Magic (3 months...the crafting system put me off COMPLETELY), Shadowbane (few months till servers shut) and now GW for the last year and a half, havent been on for the last 6 weeks or so thanks to Uni . Other genres i love are RTS (War3, SC2) FPS (CoD, Unreal, CS), RPG (Dragon Age, Oblivion, Fallout 3)

Im hoping to get into the closed beta (if there is one, doubt it, but hopes are high :D!), i can't wait to get into the Marketplace, test out the auction house, if there is anything like that (has been mentioned in an interview that auction houses will be on the smartphone/PC app ) and how the market/economy works...loved it in WoW, and can't wait to sink my fingers in it in GW2 and write a couple of reviews/guides. (sounds weird i know, but great money maker, plus still weird enjoyment in life :P, RL stocks are just...crap i guess .)
I tend to go with female casters and male melee. will definitely create a human and norn ele, fire and water respectively, to start off with. I did enjoy being a support class/caster nuker in other MMOs, wont be any different in GW2, but will definitely split my time with a melee character this round.

Edit: spelling

Hi there, My game character is Violet Rosario, sometimes referred to just V(u can call me either). im a little ashamed to say this but ive only played Guild Wars for little over a year. I play as much as i can, but you know life, it gets in the way when you least want it too. Even though my character is only a year old, ive made very good and helpful friends in Guild Wars. Im currently trying to finish all campaigns and get as many titles as possible. Ive been following GW2 since i started playing and im very exicted to play it. By joining this site, im hoping to talk and meet new friends for Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2.

Im also intrested in this skill contest, but i have a question. Do you have to pay for the prints if you win or do you get it for free? I have a good idea but would like this question answered first.

Hello everybody! I'm Laurelbeard. 25, Swedish, working as a web designer. Been playing Guild Wars on and off for the past 4 or so years. I had a bit of a lull recently, but I'm currently making my way through Eye of the North ever so slowly and trying to get to that elusive 30-point mark. The name of my primary character is Arkast Stormtamer, so look me up in-game if you feel like it.

Can't wait for Guild Wars 2 to come around. I've loved all the information released so far, and at this point it's hard to see how this game could be anything less than magnificent. I'll probably do the descendant thing for my human character in Guild Wars 2, but I also look forward to playing a charr scholar of some kind. I'm in love with the fact that they were the ones who invented the printing press. Just seems appropriate somehow.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing how this site develops. Looks like the forums are off to a good start, and I really like the karma system you have for the users. Seems like a great idea to me.

Ah let's see, where to begin.....

First online games I played were MUDS which I played various ones for 7-8 years.... got into FFXI, Moved to WoW, moved to Aion, then back to WoW.

However at this point in time not really able to do much of any online gaming as being deployed to the giant sandbox sorta puts a damper on that sort of stuff. But then again, not too much longer till I will be able to game again.

Crap just posted this and already got to edit it. Characters that I have been known by are: Keseneth, Daishan, Ecnelis, and Mishkal. Many others, but these 4 are the most used.

Hello all. I'm pretty darn excited about GW2. I've been following it off and on for close to a year now. I had high hopes and expectations (that's an understatement) for FFXIV, but sadly, I hardly enjoy the game at this point. I played FFXI for about 6 years and have yet to find a MMO to hook me like it did. So, with that said, I can't wait for the chance to play GW2.

Yes, yes, Feather came too.

Figured if I am going to lurk on 4 fansites I might as well make it 5. I see the faces that preceded me. Hello to you.

Now to disappear for a while.

Heya all.

I post under this name on Guru 2 somewhat infrequently, but at too much length when it happens. Due to the pace of things over there, my monolithic screeds often get lost in the ceaseless flow of posts, unfortunately - or perhaps fortunately for everyone else.

Thus due to my inability to find a balance between posting obsessively or lurking for days on end, I thought perhaps I should register here, where things seem to go more at my speed. I can reply obsessively to all of a day's activity, and still have time to feed myself. What a fine thing! Also it seems like a nice place, and I see names I recognize from other forums, blogs and the wide internets - in fact, the luminaries and great thinkers of the Greater Guildwars Community - all collected here! A fine thing indeed. ^^

Er, anyway, age=31 just recently, live near Chicago. Been playing Guildwars on and off for a few years now, first goofing around in RA for about a year on a PVP unlock account, later learning GvG with the help of the fine folks at KiSu, and most recently, finally playing through the PvE campaign, to learn more about the world and fill out my HoM. I'm nearly ascended on my first character, I'm very proud of this achievement.

Anyway, best of luck to everyone on the admin team getting these forums up and running - it seems like you're all doing a fine job so far with the place. I really like the interfacing with Izzy's twitter debates, and the skill design contest was a great idea! :)

Hey everyone.

I'm Scathlann, or you can call me Connor. I've been an avid Guild Wars Classic player for quite some time and am looking forward to Guild Wars 2. I have never been so psyched about another MMO, so hopefully it will be everything I imagine. I was looking for a great fansite, and this community looks alot more mature and fun to be around then the one ran by Curse. Plus, I am a HUGE fan of Allakhzam. I've played Guild Wars since the beta, and have played many other MMOs such as: Dark Age of Camelot, LOTRO, and a little EQ.

Thanks for the awesome site, and hope to get to know all of you here very soon!

Nice to meet you all. I also appear as loocas or Lucas in other places, and you may call me whatever you like. I'm in Seattle. In GW I play as Emma Gemini, among others.

I'm been playing GW for about 3 years and my fingers have been twitching for GW2 since the first teaser video. I've been lurking on other forums for a long time but it's time I make an effort to participate.

So hi! Yay!

Been on here not too long, so I thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Windmill. I'm a senior in high school, living in San Jose, CA. When I graduate I'm going to join the Navy (I'm unsure about what I'm going to do ROTC or college-wise.) After, I've been thinking about moving to the UK and maybe going to school there if I haven't already by the time I am out of the Navy.

Other than that, I like playing games, working out, mountain biking and, of course, everything Guild Wars!

Well, hello, I'm Matthew, or Matt, some of you already know me from the gw2g forums, some don't, I'd just thought I'd introduce myself anyway ^^.

I've been following Guild Wars 2 since it was announced, and Guild Wars Awesome since Factions was around, give or take. I'm anxiously awaiting the day where I can finally get my hands on my GW2 box, but honestly, who ain't :p

Okay!
I'm totally unfamilair with this community, but the game looks great and so if the community is too it is "a must have"

I'm Max, from Belgium (yea the little spot on the map)

I haven't played GW1 ever, but GW2 looks so great I can't pas it up
still can't believe there will be no pay-to-play

too bad we don't know a release date, but until then a fatefull supporter!

Hello there, You can just call me Dran. I'm mostly a lurker on forums, but chime in from time to time.

I still log on to Guild Wars and play from time to time, bought all the collector's editions for the game as well. Looking forward to Guild Wars 2, can't wait!

I played WoW for a while, Aion for a bit, FFXI is still active as I log onto that from time to time as well. I also play a little Dynasty Warriors Online from time to time more recently. that's the extent of my online games anyway, unless you count FFXIV which I haven't logged onto in about 2 months.

I eagerly await Guild Wars 2 and am glad to be here with others anticipating the game as well!
