Can't put this in a /melody chain (at least not easily); the recast is 30 sec. Weak.

It's a great song if you're the puller in your group. It's still good for kiting as well, if you aren't dependent on /melody.
This song can also be purchased from Inisis Trimpet in East Freeport.
Tip for Progression Servers: If you're coming from a mail city, such as Kelethin, make sure you get the mail quest before heading to Freeport.

This is really the first spell a bard gets that makes bard kite... *recommendation* Go to FoB and pull da whole pit... Its XP-In-a-box

Not so old post, but wrong.
If your running around with mobs following you, and your nuking one, dotting 4, chanting 1+, bowing/throwing, your still kiting.
Your dragging mobs around behind you that aren't able to melee you.
Kiting.

CoD specifically states "if the target is not moving".... means you need a REALLY tight circle and chances are, you are within melee range.

When the first guy posted about kiting the range of AE songs was greater. Also on servers such as Al'kabor the AE range has not been nerfed.
