Giving wife the evil stare!

sigh... Me and the wife were doing this quest with our pallys, mine 62, hers 51. We were doing it step for step together and made one critical error. We both got our coffins at the same time. She did the turn in first and triggered the mob we had to kill, then got her spell and POOF went the turn in guy. I already have my coffin ready to turn in which means i can't trigger it to repsawn -(.

Just did quest in 'new' commonlands works fine, Simon at p400 p 26000.
Don't know how hard Revenant is to kill, at level 46 I had a few friends along who killed him before I turned around to see him.

Just finised this quest yesterday. I had absolutly no problems with getting any of the items needed (bones, gems, Brokens sword/shield). Kedge Keep was even easy, nothing saw through my invis potion, not even sea horses or mermaids. The only real undestatement was the "Revenant" at the end. I'm level 51, soloed the whole thing, and that guy almost killed me in like 2 min, 4600 HP/1200 AC with buffs! Lucky for me a lvl 70 bard happened by and gave me a hand:) DO NOT TRY TO KILL HIM ON YOUR OWN!

for the trouble you go through to get this spell should be a better proc then rodcet nife but it is not so this spell is kind of useless finished quest today to be upset that the proc was only 65 points.. i will never use it

Finished this quest yesterday.
Only problem I had was Kedge Keep.Had a 65 bard help me and he realized only 1 seahorse can see invis.He mezzed it and i went down got the piece and swam out.No fighting as long as u dont get close to the 1 seahorse.Hope this helps.Also this DOES NOT stack with nife proc. {unfortunatly}

Did anyone notice that the lvl to attain is 50, yet it is our 49th lvl spell? Why does SoE do this to us :(

The Level to obtain is just a recommended level. You can do the quest for this spell at any level, or you can just buy it. Once you hit level 49, you can use it like any other spell.

OK here's my 2 cents worth. Only problems I've had so far are MM, I just cast Invis to Undead and ran to garden, it dropped at the pickup spot had to battle a mob there but no problem. Picked up the item, reinvised and ran out. Old sir what's his name was in the courtyard having his way with a group and I just kept on running.

Now the one in the underwater tunnel in Everfrost was driving my crazy. As posts say hug right side until u see it on the ground. But actually there is a tapestry on the left as you are following the right side going in and the item is sitting under that first tapestry. I swear I must have ran over it or past it half a dozen times, it really blends in with the ground color.

All I have left is the one in Kedge Keep, not looking forward to that one, got some high level friends who have spent plenty of time in there so I hope it goes well.

Ok, here is my input on this quest. Note: If you are over zealous, the following will happen to you.

The bones: The hardest 2 for me to get were...

MM Castle: Had I waited for some help, it would have been a lot easier. Best way you can do this is either get someone to go with you to invis you, OR buy some invis potions. Just run to the garden and pick it up. It's in the back. DO NOT try and do this on your own without invis. I am a 61 paladin and even with some buffs, I got killed. Aggro sucks in there and the greenies will kill you if you get enough of them on you.

KK: This was the worste part of this whola quest. I died there 3 times. Best thing I can tell you is look at the posts here. It's a maze in there. And don't try to go in there with just yourself. My fourth try I brough a 65 Necro and a 65 Druid. The sea horses around phinny DO see invis so beware. And don't think that you can search around while they attack you. They cast swirling vortex on you which is like a stun, but spins you around rapidly for about 10 seconds per cast. I have MR cast on me and my resist discipline and he still got it on me quite a few times.

Ping Fuzzlecutter: If you are KOS in freeport from doing your epic (like me) then either you invis from the pally GM out to the field in WF. Or you do what I did and just train the guards to pok stone. Come back in. When I came back in, I was able to do almost all of the turn ins before some 65 punk pulled him and started killing him. BAH! I stopped him when he was at 9% health, but that does not matter. You can't hail him to stop him and you can't turn in while he is that low of health. Someone eventually killed the poor guy. Good thing is, just wait about 5 minutes and he will respwn to finish this part of quest.

Last guy... This guy was relatively easy. I had HoV, Fo7 and BMB on me. I hasted myself, used my own magic resists and did the turn in. However, it thought Simon turned into the tortured revenant. That actually spawns behind you. With those buffs and a 2hs weap (46dly, 78dmg) I had to use LoH, and to CC's. Like most mobs, he runs at 20%.

This buff does not stack and is actually a lesser spell than Condemnation of Nife. However, my 1hs weap already has two procs on it, so when I fight non-undead mobs, i can have a third. I'm pretty satisfied. Was worth the time.

Upgrade?

How is this an upgrade to the level 30 proc spell that does 243 dmg? What am I missing?

Is it because it works on all creatures, not just undead?

Quest

This quest was pretty easy, except the fact that I figured I could solo the skelly that spawns in WC at level 60, and it turns out I was wrong. I had C3 and I was self buffed (With reso, shield of words, breath of tunare, valor of marr, not Austerity) and this guy, unfortunately, beat the hell out of me. I got him down to about 50% then I ran outta mana and had to have a guildie come over and help me out while I kited him around. Not a tough mob, just be careful when you get him to spawn and make sure you have a bit of help if you're 60 or below. You don't wanna get all the peices and then end up losing your quest mob just because you couldn't solo this biotch.
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 13 2004 at 7:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) pfft can finish this is under 1-2 hours at 65 was easy to solo everything in phinny room quest was total joke

I reccomend everyone all pallies do this. The 65 DD proc isn't that great but it does help more then I thought it would and helps to hold aggro. The bone in the bottome of the hole was the hardest for me. I just invised all the way down and made a run to it.. since the guards down in phinnys lair see invis it won't help you.. but I got the location of the bone in another forum and got it and then got back to up to a safe spot before I died so I just invised back to my body to rez. And the last fight for the turn in wasn't bad. just sent a /ooc and got a 53 druid and 51 warrior to help me and killed the guy without a prob.

I think whoever does not think 65 proc with a 0 sec stun is not awesome, they be smoking da crack pipe. The stun alone is going to help you contain aggro, interrupt spells, and make sure all around you got the mobs attention. And along with our undead proc and any proc a weapon has, this totally kicks ***.
right now I got the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=23441, which is the Hammer of Silent Screams, a 2HB Hammer which procs at level 1, for a 180 self heal, and it procs alot. Take this in with a 243 undead proc, and a 65 magic based proc with 0 sec stun, you will have no problem keeping aggro, as well as whooping da mobs.
