Just bought from Illusionist Acored in POK.
Its worth noting that using a big race illusion gives you the racial slam ability, which allows you to bash without shield equipped. Even if you don't have the bash skill you still hit for 1 dmg and stun, which makes this great for interupting gates and cheals. You will find the button for slam in the abilities page and combat page where you can assign things like bind wound, etc.

IF this increases your regen, and I'd imagine it does since it costs 100 instead of 50, why doesn't iksar illusion increase it too?
Before Kunark came out, this extra regeneration was exclusively Troll, and known as "Troll regeneration". Though the Iksar have borrowed this trait, it still remains etched in minds as the Trolls' trademark.
The people who program this game decide if these illusions have any benifits, and, if so, what they are. Trolls probably reminded them more of Troll regeneration than Iksar did. Plus, hey, you have to have some sort of benifit to through away your vanity long enough to turn yourself into a Troll, right?
