would make sense but im sure like most ae spells with dispell components it is irresistable. although it is a possibility that resisting it will resist the dispell part, but i highly doubt it.

This one is tough to resist, but other similar dispell-as-component spells are indeed resistable -- eg the one used by Faydedar -- and if you resist that, the Dispell doesn't land either.
