not sure how many people still look at this page anymore but was wondering if the monk aa purify body could cure this and if it would be worth curing depending on how many times it is cast during the encounter. any info would be much appreciated.

Purify Body does exactly what it says in the description of the AA window. Cures everything except charm, fear, and resurrection effects. Of course with a 30 minute cool down it only helps at the end of the fight (Well, it could help before that but probably would get hit again).
Practically Incurable

Stay out of range of this thing!

Anyhow, for the matter of curing it..

Its 30 seconds long. More than likely, if it hits you, it'll take that long to expire. Because it uses Poisen Counters, it can't be dispelled. Because it uses 396 Poisen Counters, it'd take quite a bit of effort to cure it from group before the duration is up; not sure if its worth this effort.

The AoE is relatively small, considering the AoE range on the dragons we used to encounter in the "good ol' days". I'd suggest trying to stay outside of this range if you have the luxury of distance. For you melees, I'm afraid this is going to have to be a DoT to suffer through while the healers who, hopefully out of range, fix it up.
