As of the September 13, 2004 patch this spell no longer costs a peridot to cast. Clerics rejoice.

ok so kazaad stacks with what? bot9 and focos of 7th?
yes, i found out tonight that bot9 and Fot7 stack with the kazaad line.

I and my guildies use Kazad/BoT9 and WoGallantry (for melee) in all cases. This combination maximizes mana regen., Hp regen. AC and HPs and is fast and efficient when MGBed on raids. It would be pure foolishness not to use them as you are not realizing you full potential without them. We are currently nearing the #1 guild status on prexus and have accomplished feats with half the forces of other guilds (recently killed Emp. of Ssra with 53 peeps) so I know what I'm talking about. Trust me if you have a PoT9/BoT9 druid available this is the only way to go.
FYI we WoG melee only because 50 additional ac isnt going to mitigate squat on a caster.

I personally prefer having Kazad and PoT9 up at any given time, since that extra mana regen is lots better. Virtue is more of a MT thing, since at lvl 60+ if you are a caster and getting beaten on long enough to need the extra hps from Virtue, your meat wall is doing something wrong. Since amazingly as a druid I can actually get lom doing backup heals until the cleric lands a CH (plus this is nice to keep hate list nice and even, not focused on just the cleric and meat wall), and buffing during and after combat, mana regen is a must have. So back to this spell, very nice for casters, especially those that have PoT9 at their disposal and an extra cleric lying around. 8) It all depends though, some people prefer the comfort of the extra hps, and that's fine if you have a few mana regen items lying around. For melees, I'd recommend Virtue and Mark of the Righteous, it's an uber combo.

Kazad+BOT9+WoG > Virtue....for anyone, anytime, anyplace....

Why would this spell ever be useful considering that most clerics at level 60 would at least have Aegolism?
Both spells use only one Dot, and the Aegolism, though it costs 175 more mana, gives more HP than this new symbol. Plus Aego gives AC. If anyone can see any use for this spell plz post.

This spell, combined with the level 63 Druid spell Protection of the Nine, gives 1528 hps as opposed to Aego at 1100 hps, BoA at 1150 hps, and Virtue at 1405 hps.
Granted, the AC is much reduced using the combination, but for casters, the mana regen on Po9 more than makes up for the lack of AC.
It is my understanding that the larger guilds prohibit the use of BoA now, and the combination of Kazad and Po9 is what is used. Could be wrong about that though.

caster realm say that you can combine virtue and this spell which give the main tank a add 2350hp . to me this seem very useful to the main tank
Castersrealm is wrong, then. None of the Cleric's Symbol line of spells stacks with the Temperance line (Temp/Aego/Virt).
I MUCH prefer Kazad plus POTC or POT9 over Virtue anyday....
More HPs, plus mana regen....and Casters Realm is WRONG this does NOT stack with either Aego or Virtue...

and if the extra AC is what you want then have cleric cast Ward of Gallentry on you 54AC
and you have 1528HPs, 87AC, +8mana regen

The big SUKE is you can have all 3 POT9+Kazad+WOG and have some lvl 60 Cleric MGB Aego and BAM your stripped of all 3....Thats BS....all 3 spells are higher lvl and better...go figure
