Use Illusions on Pets

If I am in a group with a tank I cast Werewolf (Boon of the Garouon)on the tank and Imp on pet. If I am soloing with pet or in group where pets are tanks I cast Werewolf on my pet. Nice Lifetap proc to help keep pet up, not counting the Wolfs buffs.

The other benifit is the pet then acts as normal pet with Attack, Guard, Back etc buttons. I have assist hotbutton with a /pet attack line that allows pet to attack automaticlly.

DSP has an EXCELLENT DCable mobs, they are at the camp by the rockhoppers and are not attached to a faction, most hit dual wield and double attack for upto 142, this makes for excellent farming

Maybe it's just me, but I'd love to know how DSP having excellent Dc-able mobs has anything to do with a forum for info on a summon spell. Might go better under AA abilities/DC. Mkay.

I think that post was supposed to be a reply to the previous post that states that DC is not desirable in DSP
nice to have

As other level 62 spells, this spell is obtained by turning in Ethereal Parchments in the library.

This pet quads for 60 plus bashes. Never tried giving him real weapons much, but I doubt that would go up unless it was through procces.

Excellent for farming tradeskill items, and camps in low level areas (e.g. DL, TT, DSP) where DC pet is not desirable. Since this pet is about level 60 - it lands hits much more often than a level 40 charmed pet will (even tho the lower level may hit harder).

Turn in the Parchments to Illusionist Jerup and get a random spell, including this one.

Dmg of pet? More info?

The lvl 55 pet spell summons pet that hits up to 55 dmg.
What dmg does this pet do? Does this pet cast spells like the mage pets?
I heard also a rumor that this pet shields the enc... is this true?

I use my animation alot still, however having Animation Empathy AA, is the reason why. Being able to control the pet is a huge advantage.

Summon your pet, give it SoV and NDT, throw on Umbra and maybee a Rune of Zeb, and use Beserker Spirit or others to heal.

This gives you a nice pet that can pull (AA) and hold AGRO.

Gates release a new AA where your pet can be the benifit of group spells..So im thinking a raid buffed, controllable pet is a nice friend to have around.

This spell summons up a level 58 pair of animated swords. As the level 55 spell summons up a pair of level 40 animated swords I say Yippee!!!!

Still need a spell to heal our pets like every other pet class has though. Oh well a little is better than nothing.

Heal spell would be nice, but Bedlam is good also. You don't heal with it, true, but casting it before starting fight prevents the pet taking damage - and berserker spirit and bedlam casted in turns (I know, recast time is big) should be as good as a small pet heal...

Agreed. I know for a fact that our pets can be mezzed. Try the imps in PoFear. Their AOE mezz got 57 people and about 20 some pets. Incuding mine. That was a long night. LOL.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 19 2005 at 4:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Enchie pets are, I believe, immune to the negative casts of their owner. Just like you can't cast a mez on another player except in PVP. The exception to this of course would be a dispell of any type.
