I recently submitted a /feedback in game...no, not the ones where I ask when Enchanters are going to get the ability to safe fall, feign death, open locks and backstab...you know, since now monks and rogues can mezz and all, it's only fair that we get some abilities to encroach on their territory, too.

I don't know if they already had this idea or they actually followed my suggestion, but I requested a fast-cast, hard-to-resist (Chromatic) mezz with a short duration. This would give us the opportunity to tash and land a longer mezz, or charm the mob on those hard to mezz mobs (like the Staticfist types in MPG and Anguish). And looks to me like they did just that with this gem of a spell. It's saved me a few times already. Mob resists mezz and comes after me, chewing through my runes, I still have time to whip this mezz out and save myself in the nick of time.
Mez resistance

For a while there after the TSS patch, I was kinda scared, mez was getting resisted a whole very lot. Then they patched a few days later with one news line reading "Some spells that were resisted more often than they should have been fixed." Well it would seem mez was one of these, I had so many deaths from mez resists, I'd say resist rates were 75%+. Much more bearable now, may 20% at most.
