I have level 26 Necro I wanted to build research skill on and was having problems also... I had to make several attempts to get the vial of pure water once I was successful (I made it from the recipe in Allakhazam) then it would show up in my list of known recipes... kind of painful at first because you where back to manually putting everything in the Spell Research Kit that I used to make the Vials.

Could not make with summoned water. Had to use water flasks only. Tried it with several different spell research kits. Finally resorted to using storebought water and it worked.

Made this recipe today in a Tome Binding Kit with my warrior. Skilled my research up to 54 with no problems.

Can be bought in Cresent Reach off Research vendors on first floor.
I have checked the researchers there and have not found any vial's of pure water. Where can I get some?

bummer, wasted a lot of plat and time on this, and it does not work.

In Corathus Creep (off of Nektulos Forest) on Merchant Model CGXIV (-400, 200), 10pp 4gp 9sp 9cp at CHA 112
Apparently it's used to research 60-65 spells, but I've been using the lower combines at lev 24 (to raise my research) without problems. Storebought items are so much easier to get ;>

wont combine in a tomb of endless enchantments either
Read the notes, which say: "Combine in a Spell Research Kit."

i agree dark bindings book will not work, need more info.
I attempted this combo in a Book of Dark Bindings (Necro) but would not allow combine. If anyone could clarify which container I need I would be grateful. i.e. Warlock or Concordence
