If I'm not mistaken to raise Kelethin faction you need to kick butt on some Crushbone Orcs, but I might be wrong

That is a typo in the EQ strategy guide. It threw me off too. They put all the troll abilities in the ogre box.

All you can do as an ogre is bash and you have infravision. You don't have regenration and you don't have penalties to your fire resistance.

i'd be willing but what server i'd have to wait intill i was high enoungh tho cuz i'm lvl 4 now

If you're talking about the quest to receive a better tunic (black shadow, I believe), don't worry about it. At 29th level, you should have MUCH better armor than what this will provide.

Honestly,

At least Ogres and Trolls know their weaknesses. From this post, you'd think that Elves and Humans should be proud of their Intelligence. To tell the truth, it is sometimes hard for me to tell the Intelligence level of ogres and trolls apart from that of elves.

So, "bash on" my underappreciated brothers.

Try Killing halflings at the three camps in Nektulos. I forget all the different factions that it raises (like Dreadgaurd Order) but it's something to try.

you cant get faction in Oggok, Grobb or Halas unless you arent KOS already.

if you are at least aprehencive there is 1 really demeaning quest in grobb. and in oggok i would assume you could do the lizerd meat quest.

but there are no quests in halas that you can do unless your indifferent.

If you don't already have an idea for a name in your head,...
Try zooming in on the face that you chose for your ogre,then click the Random name generator until you see something that goes well with the personality you want the ogre to have. When you see something close being generated,change it to something better (change a few letters,ect)

OR..

Try using the name generator of another race for your ogre! Different races get different types of names from the generator. That's how I got my name..

For example,if you have an ogre that you want to have a "meaner" name, check the Troll generator. If you're ogre is an ogress,and you want her to have a "fancy" or "prissy" name, use the High Elf generator. Then use backspace to to make the name more "ogre-y".

Hmm I have a lv 10 Ogre shaman and they are great. There is some sort of respect that comes along with being an ogre. Have a good attitude while playing him and you will get far on help from others. They are intimadating. People feel safe to have an ogre in a group, even when the group doesn't necessarily need one. I would advise you to save up your money to lv 4, then get a port to Nektolus or Lavastorm. If you land in Lavastorm, get somebody to lead you to Nektolus. This is the DE city. It is much more adept to trade skills and such. Buy a sowing kit, and kill some spiderlings. They should be easy for you. Combine every 2 spidersilks in your sowing kit to make a silk thread. Hold on to these. When your skill hits a point when you can't gain points in tailoring by doing this anymore, hunt black bears. Save their ruined pelts and low quality skins and high quality skins. Never loose a high quality bear skin! They sell for 25-30pp in EC. Go to the Neriak Foreign zone and head to the right. Go down the sloped ramp and go into the first building on your left. In the back of the building is a lady who sells patterns. combine collar patterns with a ruined pelt. Keep doing this until you reach a skill lv of 26. Sell the rest of your ruined pelts and your successful collars (unless you want to wear some armor you could always make the ruined pelts into more armor for yourself). Then put 3 silk threads into the large sowing kit. Do this with all your threads. The result is a bunch of silk cord. Combine one silk cord with a low quality bear skin to make a pouch. Sell these, you should already have backpacks that hold more. When you are out of cord and lq bear skins, go hunt bears again until lv 6. Then hunt every black bear and large spider near the newbe log. Save the all the bear skins except for the ruined pelts and combine every 2 spider silk. THis makes silk something (forgot what it was called). Put 1 and any pattern in and presto, raw silk armor, for casters and monks. Put 2 silk thingies with the pants and tunic. DO this stuff until lv 8. You should have a medium high (40)skill in tailoring. Save up those silk thingies from the spiders again, and /shout "anybody want to buy silk armor?" Charge 1pp per ac. This will make you rich! Lv6-9 monks sometimes will buy every peice you can make, a whoppin 24pp every time! Once you have a bunch of money, buy banded armor in peices. Look for deals in EC. Hunt skeletons at lv 8 and sell stacks of bone chips to Necros for 5pp each. This makes a bunch of money. Now you are lv 9, go back to oggok with a high lv char. Buy sow, summon food, light healing, and spirit of the bear. Now get another port to Nek, but pay 5pp for it. Head to EC on the path. Hunt in groups in the orc camps hunting centurions and, if you have enough group members, legionars. Sell a backpack full of deathfist slashed belts for up to 45pp to high lv chars who want to powerlv their newbe or who want to gain faction with freeport guards. Buy a good magical weapon, 1hb was the way I went so I bought a screaming mace for 60pp!!! Yes continue to bargain. If somebody won't bargain forget him. you can get good stuff for cheap if you bargain it down.

Actually,ogres aren't that stupid. Look at their stats. Their beginning INT is pretty
much tied with that of a dwarf and halfling! I met a dwarf in Qeynos Hills once that
had an INT of 60....Mine is 62,(with bracer on) and I'm just a warrior! ;)

And no,you couldn't kill an ogre in real life. Remember you don't have the stats your
character does. It's a GAME,have fun!
