For the kill undead in front of statue, the character with task has to be in front of statue also.

I have completed the entire quest 5 and all the requirements for quest 6 but the NPC will not go beyond the portion of where the Crusader Vraket says, 'Vallon Zek is the paragon of tactics. In the Plane of War, he spends his time practicing tactics, refining his skills and devising new tactics. Many know him as the Governor of War. You will [study tactics].'
