You say, 'hail Svekk Fangbinder' Svekk Fangbinder says 'Greetings, Kabal . I am Svekk, a humble servant of Wenglawks. It is my job to keep track of the supplies here. I also sell mundane wares. You say, 'what supplies' Svekk Fangbinder says 'We have all kinds of supplies! Normally we deliver them to the giants who live outside Kael. You say, 'what giants' Svekk Fangbinder says 'There are several encampments in the eastern wastes that barter for supplies with us monthly. The great divide also has a small outpost of Kromrif who strive to beat the Coldain back into their city of Thurgadin and of course the outposts in the wakening lands. Our last batch of deliveries did not reach their intended targets. The runners have not been heard from since they were dispatched either. Faction IS the point. There are several Velious quests that are highly dependant upon faction. (Such as the Kael armor quests) If the result of someone's ultimate quest is so desirable, and they are high enough level that they have the financial means; 500gp is a reasonable price to pay for faction.
Don't look at this as a single quest, but rather one that contributes to other quests.

Where the helll is he? I went through the fort, and he isnt there, if he is, then what timer is he on ?

i have seen him inside the fort in one of the houses, the thing is that he is surrounded by some kromrif elites which seams to be kos to everyone and they see invis. Do you have to pull the kromrif elites away or something or do the elites despawn.

It's really just a lot easier to hunt in skyshrine until you're dubious to Kromzek (You can check your faction in various places in WL, Kael and i'm sure there's a few in iceclad/GD). Once you're dubious, farm coldain miners or coldain wolf masters (miners have less hp) and turn their heads into Captain Bvellos [NOT THE RECRUITER]. Bvellos has a ph, but the ph despawns and, after a while, Bvellos spawns in his place. You get +Kromzek, +Kromrif, +Tormax, -Coldain, -Claws of Veeshan and probably -Dain Frostreaver (not sure). These faction hits are considerably better than the ones with the recruiter. There's no real way to raise giant faction *easily* without hurting coldain faction. Hunting velious dragons is good giant faction too.
If you are patient or rich use the kobold quest with Bvellos. 12 times(48paw) took me from kindly to ally with zek and from threatening to dubious with riff. Get silvery maska sn antlered masks. Silvery masks sell for 150pp easily so get money back quick. I also heard the paw quest is huge tormax faction also, haven;t taken the time to con them though.

The page here does not list negative coldain faction for doing this quest, but one of the posts does. Do you really get neg Coldain faction for doing this quest (from which you get hardly any adjustment and less reward).
In considering wasting a bunch of plat on this quest, I am trying to get Kromrif faction up (already Warmly to Kromzek thanks to Skyshrine hunting), but I don't want bleed plat for insignificant faction adjustments with Kromrif and ruin Coldain faction.

As far as the Giant part goes (as I did not check the numeric changes for dwarf or dragon faction).
+Kromrif (5 points) & +Kromzek (5 points) when handing the pack to Fjloaren
+King Tormax (2 points) for the second part of the quest.
So in most cases where you need several hundered points (my character started with Rallos Zek faction, so all he has to work off is his race - so he started at -800 faction with the Tormax faction) then you will have to do this quest 500+ times to raise your faction to a useful point with Tormax.
(I know the numbers, VI does not want you to see the number, but the numbers can not hide from knowing eyes)

King tormmax faction is hard to come by, dwarf heads come very slowly..50pp is not alot of cash to most ppl calling keal their home

If this quest gave you even one level of faction with the King for 50pp it would be worth it...but it doesn't. It doesn't even give you a level of faction after 250pp. It is definately not worth the cash.

I just did the quest hoping that paying 50pp would be enough to change my faction. It didn't and now after reading the above poster who did the quest 6 times with no faction change I am beginning to believe this quest is just not worth the money. It is easy, but I just don't think it is worth the cash.

I did this six times last night. Just for info sake, you can give him 50 pp instead of 500 gold. You rarely get 100 gold as a reward, my results were as follows, 24, 122, 27, 43, 26, 31.

If anyone has used this quest to get off the KOS to the Temple Guardians, can you tell me how many times? Six runs, little less than 300pp spent and an hour and a half later, I'm still KOS ;) I'm hoping this isn't a required 100 - 200 trips.

ive done the coldain head to bvellos 18 times, and done this quest 5 times and im still scowls. im thinking it takes a very very long time to get warmly to king tormax faction.
