Skulls do not summon, so are safe to kill from a distance (dots, nuke, arrows).
Rat boss is rootable and do not summon either, so can be root/rot.

Keyword is "prevent a war " Click on the crystal at the zone-in in Demiplane of Life which will give you option to go to your adventure. This will take you to your mission. Task Window: ?Hail Lashun for task update. Task Window: ?Kill 10 corrupted fragments/scouts/defenders/striders in the outer ring of the zone for updates. Task Window: ?These come off the dead corrupted. Task Window: ?Deliver the samples for update. Task Window: ?Kill the corrupted totems (large skulls) for updates. They are rooted to their spot and cast Corruptive Fog (62.5k single target -950 RA disease, 1200 range nuke) constantly. Task Window: ?A large named mouse spawns in the middle of the mobs. The totems in the 5th step to a 40k damage AOE constantly.
Oddly, my tank 104 merc and mage pets handle it just fine (don't seem to be taking much damage), but my 104 bard gets hit for 40k constantly

I'm pretty sure it doesn't hit them, but yeah that corruption aura is rough.

Any mob with corrupted in the name counts for your updates. You do NOT need to pull the large blocky looking mobs (who usually have several mobs surrounding them.)
Only the "living" mobs will drop samples of flesh. (This may include undead too but live-type mobs.) I had good luck single pulling the mobs that look like horses near the outer edges of the zone.
Named wasn't that bad.
Group got zero gear from the chest but multiple spells of different levels :) Chest spawned within aggro range of several mobs.
