my experience:
i went in (level 41) with a level 45 monk. if you go straight ahead, you can see a place to land straight ahead and down a bit. you can make it without lev, but it's _much_ safer to do it with lev just in case. from there, go straight again and drop down through a room where the floor is broken out. i guess it can spawn anywhere around there, but i got mine after an hour or so on the path to the right on the way out towards the exit. good luck everyone. the repairman falls next...

Just wanted to update. Camped again last night... must have been my lucky day... I continued to clear the ramp up to the first platform and clear the 5 huts at the top of the landing. I also killed any roamer I saw in the city around my "cleared" area.. as well as any that came close to the ramp on the ground. I killed gnawers and vines that came close to the ramp... did not discriminate. On the forth re-pop in the very first hut on the right at the top of the ramp a repairer spawned. I about fell outta my chair. Killed him... no planks. Turned around and the third hut at the top of the ramp on the left almost immedietly popped another repairer. Again... total surprise... killed him.. got the planks! Woot! So just clear the ramp, the ground around the ramp, and all 5 huts at the top of the ramp as well as any roamers and he will eventually spawn. Good luck all!

Have been camping the Repairer for several days now. I have read conflicting reports from posts here and on other sites stating where exactly to locate the repairer. I decided that I would clear the ramp up to frogtown and the first semi-circle of huts at the first landing from the ramp. I want to make mention that I have camped this place either killing the entire town or specifically the area at the top of the ramp for well over 20+ hours... one camp alone was 8 hours long... I have spoken with another who said he has been camping the repairer on and off for over a month and has never seen it spawn. During all my time camping the repairer I have had the fortune of having a druid with me and she never has seen the repairer on track. I have completed the SK, warrior, and all but this damn piece for the Shammy armor, and by far and away this is the most frustrating camp I have ever been on, ever. I think this is directly related to the fact that everyone has different info on how exactly to get him to pop and where exactly he does pop. Hope everyone else has had better luck than I.

I'm an Iksar shaman (soon to be level 30) and I looked at http://www.eqatlas.com/kunark/kaesora.html to see what room the Frenzied Gnawer Tail spawns.
I looked and could find what room they spawn in, but my best guess they spawn in the Frenzied room.
Could some one tell me if I am correct or what room it spawns?

Yesterday we camped Kaesora from the fremzy spider room to the Library with a shammy 46 and a monk 55 easily. The FRENZIED GNAWER spawned in one of the corridors starting from the frenzied room after like 2-3 hours hours of heavy killing. It seems all the spiders are PHs for it.
So if you want to finish fast, just keep killing all the spiders.

If You come into Swamp from the south and camp next to the City by the water's edge there are several Repairers in area. They always has friends around Shamans and Warriors. Scan the water next to the city, they swim there and are several around. Killed 3 in less then an hour and recieved plank on 4th. Tolk less then an hour and half at lvl 35 soloing. Keep pets back and root the fast little things, once hit the first thing they do is run away, so best to have a good root handy.

Way to tough for level 20. Even a full group of level 20's could not get into Kaesora. The spiders and crap would tear apart a group that low. I have raided K several times and watched groups of 30+ go down from bad pulls and add-ons. At level 50, i still prefer to group with a partner due to possible add-ons.

yeah, im not sure why they posted the minimum lvl at 20. Everything is VERY red to you in kaesora at 20, hell most stuff is probably still red to you at 30. This is probably the most difficult piece of armor to get.

I am Jorulak, shaman in his 35th season on the ECi server. It gives the "Scaled Mystic Vambraces" AC 8, +5 Sta, +5 Agi, +2 Wis; The Treated planks fell off of a Froglock Repairer in the Froglock City in the Swamp of No Hope; i git the Frenzied Gnawler Tail which is 1HS that a shaman can use btw =;) i got in the room where the spiders are near the entrance after the drop to the left. i don't recall what dropped it, but we only saw one drop. This was accomplished with help from my good friends in the best guild in Norrath "The Brethern"

Sorry I didn't state it originally; but the Frenzied Gnawler Tail dropped in Kaesora. BTW I used it for a day as my weapon; It is a whip that a shaman could use (Till they fix it). Was pretty awesome practicing my 1HS skill that I dont even have hehehehe.
May try to get another one; was cool having a whip as a shaman.

I camped the room for several days, off and on, and the frenzied gnawers I saw generally spawned in place of the strathbone healer spider that spawns right off the room. When you enter Kaesora, go down the hallway (watch for spawn, i.e. spectral guardian - he roams, and is standing there a lot of the times), and when you come into the first open area, drop down the left hole. Directly across from you will be a door. Sometimes a spider, etc, will attack you through this door. Go out (not into the door, but out of the alcove you dropped in) and to the right. You'll come to the spider room, where the frenzied strathbone spawns. To your left will be three spawns, generally spiders, but sometimes a (regular) gnawer spawns in the futhest spawn. They are all against the left wall when you enter the room. To your right is a small entrance. If you go through this open entrance, directly to your left will be another small room where the healer spawns. Sometimes, in her place, a frenzied gnawer spawns. That said, these things may very well spawn everywhere, but after camping that area for about 30 hours total, that's pretty much only where he spawned for me. The gnawer tail wasn't truly a rare spawn for me, but then again was not an entirely common one either. It varied. Sometimes 4 would drop in 5 hours, sometimes none for several hours. Zone into Kaesora with many of your closest friends. Go straight to the first pit. (Not the pit on the left) Fall or levitate all the way down to the bottom. You will be attacked immediately by a lot of low 30's spiders, most of which will be casters. Go straight down the hallway just a bit and you will find a Frenzied Gnawer. Kill it. It always seems to have the tail. If you need another tail, keep going a little ways more and there will be another Frenzied Gnawer on the path down to Xalgoz before you get to any undead. I did camp the frenzied spider room for 5 hours. I came out with a mask of the 8 eyes, some kind of rogue dagger, and truesilver sleeves, but no Frenzied Gnawer tail.

It's droping of the froglick repairmen, first thing the higher lvls wanted to tell me is the repair man is also in seb, thats nice. I got him to spawn after 3 hours and on the second spawn he had his plank. happyness.

The frenzied gnawer tail can be found in kaesora off the various ravenors there. But i have no idea where to find the froglok treated plank i would assume it would be foraged in the w woods or it might be a rare drop off the frogloks there.

Drop off the Froglok Repairman in the Froglok city in SoNH. He is a random spawn, so kill everything on the first platform until he spawns. He does not always have the planks on him. He also sometimes drops a head, that is part of the Iksar Warrior Newbie Weapon upgrade quests, I think its the 4 upgrade.

The mob is called A Froglok Repairer. I camped the first platform, killing everything there, for about 3 hours before I got it off the 2nd Repairer I saw. He seems to only pop in the room to the right of the ramp going up to the village. He will be there amongst about 4 other frogs. It was a tough room even being in my 50's with a pet. They were all aggy before I even got a chance to see what was in there.
You were agrod because of your pet's low level. A level 40 without a pet will have few agros. If only level 30, you'd better have a good group, but since the zone is always empty of players you'd probably have to borrow guildmembers to take it on.
Shaman frogs in the neighboring huts will heal the frog you're fighting. You may want to kill off the shaman frogs in the neighboring huts until melee type frogs spawn in their place so you can concentrate on the repairer hut (just to the right of the entrance ramp) without those shaman frogs interferring.

I saw him in building to the right when reach the top of the ramp and were only 2 others with him. I didnt bring pet in just rooted and dotted they went down quickly only blue was a froglock (shun,shin,ton) Shaman who i just avoided. Best way to do it is either with group or invis and assasinate him. BTW imm 41st level so the shaman was prolly about 35 - 38 tops.

I camped him this weekend, he only seems to spawn in the hut on the right at the top of the ramp. I'm a lvl 35 Shaman and with my pet we managed to keep the hut cleared, since I wasn't getting any xp I didn't see any reason to clear other areas. I got the planks on the 3rd spawn, took 6 hours total over 3 different campings. Also a Krup Guard spawns there too, he con'd blue to me, everything else was green. Be warned, the Froglok Shaman can cast through walls, so you may not know where your being attacked from.
My guess would be the Frogloks in FV.

The Froglok repairer is a mob in foglok city in swamp of no hope that is around 18-22 but seems to have some friends
