Lol got all the quest items I need for the quest... M level 16 and decided I wanted a goal in my iksar life so trained in smithing. Cost me about 100pp to get my skill to 120 but now I can make most of the banded armor with ease and have made bout 300pp in profits =) With the money I was able to buy the fire emerald from the merchant near the bank. Then at lvl 16 I put on SOW and ran all the way to the fort. And behold, the floor was littered with sarnak recruits and exiled iksars with NOTHING on the corpses EXCEPT the quest items. Turns out the people camping them knows what's it for and just decided to give newbies like me a break :)
PS: If any of you need banded just look for me :)

Sorry, I answered my own question. The proper dialog with Shezlie Furscale is: "Oxyn sent me",
followed by "I will collect some more bundles." She will then give a long list of "bundles" that correstpond to the various scaled mystic armor quests she offers. Got my first piece of scaled mystic gear today! Very happy :)

exiles are like very dangerous cause they have a huge aggro range. i was in warsliks getting the head(had every thing else) with my high lvl shammy friend (hes 45). we passed by bandit camp and about 10 exiles jumped us, along with bandit lord.we got those killed but then some pariahs and more exiles spawned. i managed to pull off a gate with 1/4th of a bubble of HP. My friend died about 3 mins later after killing all but 1 pariah. i went back and finished pariah and got head from 5th exile corpse. i also got to loot bracer :). never pass by bandit camp without invis or sow. if ya do. 40 12 12 12 40 12 48 52 21 29 24 23 miss miss miss miss 29 40

The shop nearest the bank (in Cabilis,) is a jeweller. You can buy all the gems you need for the quests here.

I have seen a huge quantity of these various Iksar heads directly out of the door of the sarnak fort.
The waters edge at the lake straight out from the sarnak fort appears to be a safe place for the most part...I grouped it in the 17-23 range with relative ease.
Just get with a group at the lake edge and somebody needs to pull iksar exiles and the like....
One thing...if your healer sits at the waters edge they WILL get pounded from behind by a few nasty, like really nasty, beasties that are in the lake itself.
So look out for waters edge of Ill Omen, they hate medding clerics!

Just Kill an Iksar Murderer, lvl 2-10, and they drop all the items you need for the quest for some reason, but they are tough, so you would need them to be at least blue to you for you to defeat them, don't try to kill a black/white one unless you are in a group. They spawn in FoB in the pit near the dragon skull, the Tower, and where Kaesora is, they are very common spawn, and ALWAYS drop all the items in one kill, but watch out that Lord Eliren isn't near them, cause he is lvl 72 (and yes, i am correct, because NPC's are unlike players, and can grow above lvl 60, the highest lvl one is a lvl 92 Wurm named Supreme Guard Reslik) and he will kill anyone, especially people killing his kind. My theory is that they all murder things and loot them, and Lord Eliren kills the things that drop the other items, and he gives it to his men. Remember, be careful when killing Iksar Murderers!

I have a level 19 iksar shaman and i was able to talk with both of the furscales. Matter of fact, I spoke with them after completing the first shaman skull quest (the one with the 3 skulls in the sewers; really easy one). When I turned them in to the Hierophant named oxyn he mentioned the furscales, and they are easy to find. I have yet to complete any of the quests, but plan to do them all. Well I hope this helps somebody out.

I think the banded leggings have to be medium. I did the quest with small banded leggings and she just thanked me for donating and told me to leave.
What if your a Shaman Barbarain and want to do this quest for $$ and you have good fraction with the iskars? think they'll let me have the prize?

A player smith can make then for you, usually banded sells for 1pp per AC, so they should sell for 8pp.

Any class can complete the quest, but only Iksar Shaman can wear them. These quests can also be multi-quested (as of 5/15, this might be changed), have on character turn in the No Drop items, while the shaman turns in the respective banded pieces and gems.

Yes, but could a Shadowknight turn in ALL the items and get the Greaves and then sell/give them to an Iksar Shaman?
EG, I have a 40 Iksar SK and I plan on making a new char (a shaman, I like shamans a lot) and twinking him up. So I thought I'd collect up on all the quest armor and twink him that way since the armor isn't No Drop.

Yesterday a friend and I spent about 4 hours in the Lake killing recruits, and we didn't see a single letter drop. Either we are the most unlucky people in EQ, or something is strange with the spawn. We even offered a decent amount of money to loot one, but no one at the fort even said a thing. Must have killed 400 of those buggers, we finally just gave up =P

I have found a large quantity of recruitment letters on sarnaks (generally recruits) but I have gotten them off of other sarnak classes also. But only those that are in the fort itself,
(adherants, gem oracles, just all types really of sarnak).
As a level 18 ranger these recruits were the full range of yellow to very tuff reds.
I have seen only a few out of the fort and I have a suspicion that these came from those sarnaks
that were pulled from the fort itself and left to wander for whatever reason.

Recruitment letters drop off recruits in and around the Fort area more often than anywhere else in the zone (probably because everywhere you turn there is a recruit)

I went down to the lake for my first time and I found a letter on like the 3rd kill. I can't use it though, I am KoS in Cabilis.

There is a building with several doors right beside the bank. Check with each merchant and you'll find one. They cost 90pp.

You can find them in warsilk woods. the head is a lore item and a no drop. the exiles hit pretty hard should be lvl 28 to solo them or be teamed up with a couple fo people. it is a very common drop.

I dont know what class you are but when I was lvl 21 with my druid he was able to solo them pretty easily so I cant see why a shaman wouldnt be able to as well at around that lvl with his DoT's and SoW, just a thought

Well I have seen them drop quite frequent at the Bandit Lord camp off the Iksar Exiles that spawn there.

Head to the Windmill.. if you know where that is. Or Get directions/loc from the zone. Exiles frequently pop in the area. They are red to 17, but the heads are frequently left on the bodies, just ask to loot one.

Um where did this they wont talk to you if you arent 20 ++. I am 14 and I can get them to talk. Just tell them OXYN sent you and go from there.

I got these pants this evening. Very nice upgrade from my woven. They are similar in texture to the Jasarth Scale and Cab Scale but are a darker shade of green. The quest was easy as the letter drops off every other/third Sarnak recruit. I saw no less than 10 drops in 2 hours. The head i cant really comment on. I killed only one and it had the head. The emerald i had in the bank - was looking for a chanter to make a ring. Very easy quest at lvl 21.

Recruitment letter is NOT no rent. The scroll dropped by Sarnak caster is the no rent scroll.

yeah i went up to them and hailed firscale and all she was to say is "becareful around here nodozer these parts are ruined blah blah, i mentioned oxyn and still didn't reply i have all the pecies but no response help me!!
