This is a kill task that begins with Arch Lich Eliza (click for map) in Neriak Fourth Gate. She's located at 775, 580, -32 (first floor of the House of the Dead). You must be in Dark Elf form in order to speak her, otherwise she will brush you off.

You say, 'Hail, Arch Lich Eliza'

Arch Lich Eliza speaks without looking away from the bookshelf. 'Tell me, _____, are you loyal to the queen or to the king? I try to distance myself from the dramatics of royalty, but her majesty's devotion to the necromantic arts has drawn me to these halls. Her collection of summoning tomes is unrivaled! Of course, it's far from complete. The king refuses to let some of the books leave the palace -- a bit obsessive, if you ask me -- but I digress. If you're inclined to [help] further the research being done here, I have just the task in mind.'

Arch Lich Eliza lowers her voice. 'Find your way to Darklight Palace and recover books from the guards, even if you have to bludgeon them. Your efforts won't go unrewarded.'

Kill guards within Darklight Palace who carry the missing tomes. The entrance to Darklight Palace is located in the southeast corner of Fourth Gate.

Slay guards within Darklight Palace to recover tomes 0/8 (Neriak Fourth Gate)
