Upon handing in the note...

Veisha Fathomwalker says 'Davorre, he is still alive! All these years I had thought him dead. He has kept his promise to me, and yet my most recent actions betray him so. I did not know. Here. Please give this to him with my most sincere regrets. I have moved on with my life and it is good to know that he is alive and well. But [Phaeril] is now my life.'

Upon turning in the Ring...

Davorre Bloodthorn says 'Only a few years have passed and her heart has already forgotten me. No doubt she has found another to warm her bed. Go, find her new lover, and bring me nothing less than his head.'

Upon turning in A Locked Chest...

Veisha Fathomwalker says 'Vile creature! Child of heresy! My love's death shall be avenged! How dare you bring me his head in a box!

Upon looting and turning in Veisha's head...

Davorre Bloodthorn says 'My revenge has been satisfied. Thank you, my child. You have proven yourself to be a most worthy asset to our cause. Here, I no longer have any use for this, my ties to the old life are now severed.'

Last night on Tholuxe Paells, I had the pleasure of toasting this goodie goodie. There are NO faction hits for killing her, and you can turn in the head directly without doing the rest of the quest for the Battle worn halberd. I am a 23 SK and was teamed with a 29 Druid. First attempt was to 'test the water' She hits for atleast 77, and kicks aswell, we prolly could have taken her, but we started the fight when druid was around 50 mana. Second time at full mana, it was easy. Druid snared and kited until 50%, I dropped a fear on her, so she couldn't use Lay Hands. One harm touch, and couple of nukes later and she was dead. Easy. There are also TWO veishas roaming the forest. Second attempt, we killed her around 4pm, so the day/night thing does not have much relevance either. If you wait at the druid ring she wanders past, swims over the river (with the bridge) and goes to the beach, then goes south to where rugpup lurks.

Very easy quest, highly recommended.
