This is a solo task that begins with Zerkis Bigfeets (map) in the Valley of King Xorbb. He's found at -1385, -950, 105 (a little ways north from the zone-in). Pre-Requisites: - Level 85 - No tasks You say, 'Hail, Zerkis Bigfeets' Zerkis Bigfeets says 'Have you seen my dearest? Hmm? Have you? I seem to have [lost] it somewhere. I know I had it here. I don't know what I'll ever do without it! My dearest...' You say, 'Lost?' Zerkis Bigfeets says 'Yes yes.. Lost.. Unless some stupid Goblin STOLE IT! I mean, I could always make another one, but then I'd need to go [find] all the pieces. How can I go searching for things when I can't even find my dearest? Hmmm? My dearest...' You say, 'I will find it' Zerkis Bigfeets says 'You? You would go find the pieces to my dearest? Oh lovely... That would be just lovely if you could find my dearest... I mean... Find the pieces so I could make another one. You'll need to find some Osmium ore to forge the ring, Purified Direflame to generate enough heat, ancient words of power to imbue the magic within, and some binding residue to tie it all together... Ah yes... Find the pieces to make a new one. My dearest...' You have been assigned the task 'Ain't No Thing Like an Evil Ring'. Zerkis wants you to search for pieces he needs to create a new ring of power. You'll need to find a piece of Osmium Ore, some magical binding residue, Purified Direflame, and Ancient Words of Power, whatever those might be. Collect Binding Residue 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Collect Osmium Ore 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Collect Purified Direflame 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Collect Ancient Text of Power 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Deliver the Binding Residue to Zerkis 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Deliver the Osmium to Zerkis 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Give the Purified Direflame to Zerkis 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Give the Ancient Text of Power to Zerkis 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) You receive "Ring of Binding". Bind a weakened eye to the ring 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) With any evil eye in your target (and under 30% health), right-click the ring to change it into an "Empowered Ring of Binding" (mob despawns). Return the empowered ring to Zerkis 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Note: The reward for this task may be bugged, but you will get completion credit. Remaining Dialogue:
Deliver the Binding Residue to Zerkis 0/1
Deliver the Osmium to Zerkis 0/1
Give the Purified Direflame to Zerkis 0/1
Give the Ancient Text of Power to Zerkis 0/1
I don't have his spoken dialogue, but he gives you "Ring of Binding"
Bind a weakened eye to the ring. 0/1
Right click the ring while targeting any of the evil eye mobs. I tried every 10% until it was under 30%, at which point it took. "Ring of Binding" becomes "Empowered Ring of Binding" and the mob despawns when you successfully bind it.
Return the empowered ring to Zerkis.
Handed in the ring and selected the Ring reward. Got message "The system is currently unable to grant your reward for: Unknown. Please try again later."
I did, however, get the ring. It was in my bags, in spite of the message. Ring of Watching Eyes
