Rain of Fear Information & Guides: An Overview | Group Progression & Task List | Raid Progression | Visible Armor
This is a shared task (1-6 players) that begins with Kesar (map) at the zone-in of the Breeding Grounds (-20, 0, 4). Pre-Requisites: - Level 85 - No tasks You say, 'Hail, Kesar' Kesar says 'Hello. Care to take a shot at [training] a dragon? It is both rewarding and terrifying at the same time!' You say, 'Training?' Kesar says 'Don't worry; it's not that difficult. Are you [interested]?' You say, 'I'm interested' Kesar says 'Excellent! First thing we will need to do is get some treats for the young dragons. You can't teach them if they aren't motivated. Take this pickle juice and collect some chetari brains. Place a chetari brain inside the pickle juice to make a pickled chetari brain. The dragons here just love them. If you need [more pickle juice] just let me know.' You receive "Pickle Juice" (single-slot container). You have been assigned the task 'The Dragon Whisperer'. Kesar has offered you the chance of learning the basics of training dragons. Kill chetari and collect their brains 0/4 (The Breeding Grounds) Brains can drop from four types of Chetaris: a Chetari deathbender a Chetari hoarder a Chetari scavenger a Chetari seeker Once looted, combine them one at a time in the "Pickle Juice" container to produce "A Pickled Chetari Brain". Speak with Kesar 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) You say, 'Hail, Kesar' Kesar says 'Did you make some pickled chetari brains? I hope so. Approach one of the three young dragons that are not being trained at the moment and give them a pickled chetari brain to continue.' Give a young dragon a Pickled Chetari Brain 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) Teach a young dragon to sit 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) Target the young dragon next to Kesar and tell it to "sit" (you may need to repeat this a few times). Give a young dragon a Pickled Chetari Brain 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) Teach a young dragon to stand 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) Target the young dragon next to Kesar and tell it to "stand" (you may need to repeat this a few times). Give a young dragon a Pickled Chetari Brain 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) Teach a young dragon to play dead 0/1 (The Breeding Grounds) Target the young dragon next to Kesar and tell it to "play dead" (you may need to repeat this a few times). Your exchange might look something like this: You say, 'Sit' The young dragon sits down. You have successfully taught the young to sit! You say, 'Stand' The young dragon sits down. You have failed to teach the dragon to stand up. Try again! You say, 'Stand' The young dragon breathes fire. You have failed to teach the dragon to stand up. Try again! You say, 'Stand' The young dragon stands up. You have successfully taught the young to stand up! You say, 'Play dead' The young dragon plays dead. You have successfully taught the young to play dead! You say, 'Do NOT breathe fire' The young dragon breathes fire. You have failed to teach the dragon to not breathe fire. Try again! You say, 'Hail, Kesar' Kesar says 'I was watching how you handled the dragons. Not too shabby for a first time dragon trainer. A living dragon trainer is a successful dragon trainer as they say. You are by no means a master dragon trainer yet, but you at least know the basics now. Please take this for your hard work.'
