But be warned, this will be the toughest challenge you have faced yet. There are many legends and myths of great heroes and ancient evils from all over Norrath. Here in Freeport, we get travelers from all over the world, and we get their tales as well. The point is that most of these stories are just that, stories and fairy tales. Told to amuse people and frighten children. I also thought the tales I'd heard about the [Marnek Jaull] were only legends, but now I know better.'

This was known as the wand of the Burning Dead, and was rumored to instill its owner with mystical energies. I had 1 plat and some change, and was able to buy everything for the yellow sash, it's simpleton's matters. Just so you know as a shortcut to this sash, I bought the stuff in the barbian fishing village and I am on this tough sash with my 4 monk.

This is honestly easier than the second sash. The bracer drops off from every other Orc in Crush Bone (no body loots them either so if you are too low level just wait and find a rotting corpse). The ring is even more common, and one can usually be bought from the WC Druid ring vendor for a plat I think. Took six kills to get Lightstone.

The bracer is comon drop of the Crusbone Legionaires in Crusbone which is located in the North end of the G fay zone. I just destroyed 20 of them which I got from Killing Leggos in Clan Crusbone so to all of you Monks running around trying to get these Bracers take the boat to BB run to G fay enter Clan Crushbone and get a bracer. Hope it helps

By far my worst day in EQ EVER involved this quest. The Lightstone and Ring were no problem to find, but the Leig bracer took aaaaages to get. I finally get all the items, and head to the monk guild to give them to the master...
But I forgot who I was supposed to give them to, and handed them in to the wrong monk. (including my yellow sash)
2 weeks work down the drain, good thing I didn't break my monitor when I hit it. Now I need 2 DF pawn scalp, snake fang, bone chip, white sash, DF belt, giant snake rattle, tarantula chitin, yellow sash, greater lightstone, derv ring, and another stupid, stupid leig bracer. Aarrgh!

I have raised six people in EC, five of which are now 30+ the last is 28, and never once have I seen a Legionnaires Bracer drop in EC. I'v camped there before with the 28 (others were to far away) for about 2 hours, never once got one. I went to gfay on alil business after i sold my stuff i went to Crushbone to check out the zone. I killed 2 Legionnaires there and got 2 bracers, what i guess i'm saying is crushbone is the best bet to get these. And what level are Emissaries? Because he casted blindness on my 28 pala, didn't actually do anything cause i resisted it the first eight times, the ninth one did the charm, but i had rooted him =) dropped like 2 copper... cheap *******

This is a REALLY easy quest....I got the sash at lvl 4! I took my 11 shammy to nro and got a cutthroat ring in a derv group, ported my monk to Gfay, got the bracers and ported back within 10 mintues....and bought a greater lightstone for 1pp off some dude in nro! Very easy if you know what your doing!

I think I have found a bug, unless I'm missing something. I gave the orange sash-lady (Reyia?) the following items on separate occasions, over the course of about 2 hours:
Legionnaire bracer
yellow sash
Greater lightstone
Cutthroat ring
After each item was given she said:"Congratulations! You are well on your way towards earning the orange sash."- or something very close to that. BUT after I gave her all the items, I got nothing. Am I missing something? I even petitioned the GM, but they were no help.

It's a really bad idea not to have all the items to give to the NPC at once. You can turn them in one at a time, but the problem is that anyone can turn in pieces of the quest, and whoever turns in the last piece gets the reward. If you turn in a couple items, go away for a while, then come back, someone else may have attempted to do the quest in the meantime, and they got the reward, and the NPC got reset.
Also, the server may go down, the zone may get repopped if the server doesn't go down, the NPC may get killed for whatever reason, and all of those things will reset the quest as weill.
If you meant that you did all of the items at once several different times, then maybe there was some other problem going on. I've obtained the sash before, so the quest as listed on the page does work.

This is possible the EASIEST sash to get, The GLs you should already have by the time your lvl 6. You can probibly find a person giving them away. The lego bracer is just as easy. Wait outside CB and shout for one. The hardest part about this quest is the trip from antonica to Gfay. I got my orange at lvl 9. The total "quest" time was about 2 hrs if you include the boat ride. I also bruogh along some extra bracers to give other monks. I made some nice monk friends by giving the bracers away. So if you wanna make some friends erally quickly in WFP, bring some lego bracers from CB and give em away to the monks.

next time you do this you might try giving the peice you forgot initialy (if you have it) alot of the quests npc's tend to keep track of what they've been given already untill they give out the reward...if it works great! if not, you already have to recollect all the other stuff, what's one more thing...

It's been a while since I did this quest, but I believe the Legionnair Bracers are only dropped by the Legionnaires in Crushbone. I killed large number of Legionnaires in the Commonlands without ever getting a bracer, but found one very quickly once I went to Crushbone.

they are rare it seams, but I have looted a bracer in EC before.
