Veil of Alaris Information & Guides: An Overview | Group Progression & Task List | Raid Progression | Visible Armor

This is a solo task that starts with Alchemist Vaskerin in the Sepulcher of Order (located at about 460, 415, 12 -- from the main building's entrance room, head west until you come to Vaskerin).

While it has no pre-requisites and isn't part of a series, it is a sub-task you have to complete in order to finish "Crafting the Triumvirate's Downfall".

Pre-requisites for requesting the task:
- No tasks
- 88 Skill Level in Alaran

You say, 'Hail, Alchemist Vaskerin'

Alchemist Vaskerin says 'I did not think this tomb would be warm. Far before my memory, the sepulcher was sealed away, and it has been centuries since any living soul has entered. I thought we would be huddled around braziers, but the glowing [liquid] everywhere -- the alsa thel the thelasas call it -- still pours from the bodies of the Triumvirate and heats the cavern.'

You say, 'Liquid?'

Alchemist Vaskerin says 'The Triumvirate must be stirring. If their blood lives, their bodies will soon follow. Their power will be absolute. I do not doubt this. I have seen firsthand the power of the alsa thel. Do you know of the [thel ereth ril] that wander these halls?'

You say, 'What about the thel ereth ril?'

Alchemist Vaskerin says 'They contain the purified essence of the alsa thel, and they bestow great vitality upon the loyal servants of the Triumvirate. The thel ereth ril themselves do not know death: I saw an unruly goral slash at one's throat, but the thel ereth ril walked on as if nothing happened, the glowing wound upon its neck closing almost instantly. This made me question whether nothing could [kill it].'

You say, 'Kill it?'

Alchemist Vaskerin says 'I surely will be reprimanded for this, but I do not care. Whenever the thel ereth ril come near, I feel an overwhelming sense of dread. I have done much research on the alsa thel, and I believe I have found a way to neutralize the vitality of the thel ereth ril. It is not easy, though. I need many samples of alsa thel that can be found suffused in the blood of creatures that inhabit this sepulcher. If you could [collect] the samples, I think it would be possible to test my theories on the thel ereth ril.'

You say, 'I'll collect some samples'

Alchemist Vaskerin says 'I shall await your return. Then we will see if the thel ereth ril are truly immortal.'

You have been assigned the task 'To Kill a Thel Ereth Ril'.

Vaskerin has asked you to collect droplets of alsa thel from the creatures inside Sepulcher. With these droplets, Vaskerin can fashion a weapon that will cripple the thel ereth ril.

Collect 500 Alsa Thel Droplets 0/500 (ALL)

Speak with Alchemist Vaskerin 0/1 (Sepulcher of Order)

Alsa Thel Droplets are found via two methods:

- As a reward from shared tasks given out by Infiltrator Tesara (9-14 droplets per shared task completed -- a full task list is found below this writeup).

- It drops occasionally from mobs in each of the three Sepulcher zones (it will take you quite a long time to collect enough if doing it by drops alone).

NOTE: The droplets are pre-lootable. Any droplets already in your inventory will automatically update the task.

Upon completion:

You say, 'Hail, Alchemist Vaskerin'

Alchemist Vaskerin says 'This is precisely what I need. Here, I have fused the droplets of alsa thel. Now, if you smith this hollow rod with the droplets, I believe we can strip the thel ereth ril of their power. Perhaps now I will be able to work here in peace! Go, do with this knowledge what you will. Just do not tell anyone where you received this information!'

Vaskerin has told you to combine the Aggregate Alsa Thel Droplet with Vaskerin's Hollow Rod in order to create a weapon that can cripple the thel ereth ril.

Final Reward:
900 platinum
Experience (approximately 6 AAs at Level 95)

You also receive "Vaskerin's Hollow Rod" and "Aggregate Alsa Thel Droplet". Combine these in a forge to produce "Rod of Alsa Thel" for use in later Sepulcher tasks and missions.

Same here..must be bugged. First time I tried it..I did campfire to get back to NPC. Second time, I ran there both ways, still get message that I failed to remain hidden. Never got attacked, never dropped my invises. Needs to be fixed imo, or more descriptive of what needs to be done.

There is a buff, something like "Secret supply delivery" or something similar which you should get upon picking up the supplies. When you get to the turn in guy you get behind the turn in mob, click off invis, and check to make sure you still have the special buff then turn in the item.
