This task is the third in a series of three; a solo task that begins with Gibbledon Cogboggle in Windsong Sanctuary, located at about 20, -185, -32 (due west of the zone-in -- the southern entrance to the inner grassy area). Pre-requisites for requesting the task: - Completion of "Stranger in a Strange Land" - Completion of "Getting Down to Business" - 81 Skill Level in Alaran You say, 'Hail, Gibbledon Cogboggle' Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'I was able to put the pieces of the schematic together. Now we must collect the parts needed to make the [Harmonic Disruptor]!' You say, 'What about the Harmonic Disruptor?' Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'First off we need something to make the strings. Some hair from a kangon should do. It will have to be treated and purified however before it is suitable for use. Take this vial of purification and combine the kangon hair and a sample of pure water in it. You should be able to get some water from the wind elementals nearby.' You have been assigned the task 'Making Music'. You receive a "Vial of Purification". Collect the parts that Gibbledon needs to make the Harmonic Disruptor. Make some Purified Kangon Hair 0/1 (ALL) Task Window Says: Obtain one Kangon Hair from wind striders, fluttering kangons, or breezerunners. Obtain one sample of pure water from the wind elementals. Once you have these items, combine them in the Vial of Purification to purify the Kangon Hair. Give the Purified Kangon Hair to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary) Speak with Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary) You say, 'Hail, Gibbledon Cogboggle' Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'This hair should make the perfect strings for the Harmonic Disruptor. Now I need something to make the [body] of the Disruptor.' You receive a "Harmonic Wood Infuser". You say, 'What about the body?' Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'We will need some high quality wood. There are some hardy trees that grow around Windsong called windwood trees. The Alarans use them to make their own instruments. The wood will need to be infused with a couple more [ingredients] however.' You say, 'What ingredients?' Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'We will also need a soul from a musical spirit, and some harmonic crystals. The crystals grow around Windsong, and you shouldn't have a problem gathering some. Combine the windwood, musical soul, and harmonic crystals in this harmonic wood infuser to infuse the wood with the spirit of song.' Make a Bundle of Harmonic Wood 0/1 (ALL) Task Window Says: Obtain one musical soul from the musical spirits. Obtain three pieces of Windwood from the Windwood trees that grow throughout the interior of Windsong Sanctuary. Obtain three Harmonic Crystals. The crystals can be found in the cloudy sections of Windsong Sanctuary. Once you have these items, combine them in the Harmonic Wood Infuser to make a Bundle of Harmonic Wood. "A Piece of Windwood" appears as a little stick protruding out of the ground. It's found throughout the inner area of the zone. "A Harmonic Crystal" appears as a small blue crystal on the ground of the outer area. It's found throughout this area. "A Musical Soul" drops from the floating instrument mobs found throughout the outer area. Once you have the seven items, combine them in the container to create a Bundle of Harmonic Wood. Give the Bundle of Harmonic Wood to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary) Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'Very nice! Now we are on to the next and most important step. I need you to go to my room in the Plane of Knowledge and get my Jar of Pickles. My room is just north of the portal to Freeport.' Give the Jar of Pickles to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary) Task Window Says: Travel to Gibbledon' room in the Plane of Knowledge and retrieve his Jar of Pickles. Gibbledon's room can be found just north of the portal to Freeport. Once you have the pickles, give them to Gibbledon Cogboggle. The Jar of Pickles is a ground spawn on a table in a room just north of the portal to Freeport at /waypoint -249, -218, -154 Speak with Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary) You say, 'Hail, Gibbledon Cogboggle' Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'What? You don't expect me to work on an empty stomach do you? Give me a minute to eat some of these delicious pickles and then we can get to work on assembling the Harmonic Disruptor.' The room in question is in POK, not Windsong. Its a room on the north end of the building immediately north of the Freeport port stone in POK.
