This task begins with Braxi Keeper Yubai in the Beasts' Domain, located at -850, -95, -6 (southeastern part of the upper-third of the zone). Pre-requisites for requesting the task: - No tasks - 73 Skill Level in Alaran You say, 'Hail, Braxi Keeper Yubai' Braxi Keeper Yubai says, in Alaran, 'What do you want, outsider? Your influence on the wilderness worries me. In fact, I think you and your kind are to blame for the braxi becoming [sick].' You say, 'Sick?' Braxi Keeper Yubai says, in Alaran, 'Some of the braxi in the wilderness have become ill, and I am unable to investigate further, but I think it has something to do with the arrival of your kind. If the sickness continues to spread, we will have no braxi to tame as mounts. As this is most likely your fault, you will [investigate] the illness, or you can leave and stay out of my sight.' You say, 'I'll investigate' Braxi Keeper Yubai says, in Alaran, 'Find one of the sick braxi and after you have slain it, take its stomach. Perhaps we can see if it is something they have been eating that is making them ill.' You have been assigned the task 'Braxi Trouble'. Something in the wilderness is making the braxi ill. Braxi Keeper Yubai blames outsiders for the sickness. You have agreed to track down the true cause. Obtain a braxi stomach from a sick braxi. Obtain a Braxi Stomach from a sick braxi 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) "a sick braxi" is found mostly in the south-southwestern area of the zone's upper-third. It drops the stomach very commonly (if not 100%). Deliver the Braxi Stomach to Braxi Keeper Yubai 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Braxi Keeper Yubai takes the stomach from you and slices it open. A nauseating stench overcomes you as bits of undigested plant matter pour from the stomach. Yubai takes some of the plany matter and sniffs it. 'I do not recognize this plant. It is foreign to me. Your kind must have introduced this plant species to our wilderness. I was right to cast judgement upon you. The spread of this foreign plant must be stopped. We will need to make some [weed killer]. Also, if you happen to lose your mortar and pestle, just let me know, and I can [give] you a new one.' Collect a Binaesa Venom Sac 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Collect a Wyvern Scent Gland 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Collect a Sample of Selyrah Saliva 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Collect a Filthy Ape Liver 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Task Window Says: It appears that a plant, foreign to the wilderness has been introduced to the ecosystem and is making the braxi sick. You recognize this plant from Antonica. It is a common weed known as Bristlepoint. Yubai has asked you to collect a binaesa venom sac, wyvern scent gland, a sample of selyrah saliva, and a filthy ape liver. The above four items are common drops from the said mob types (all found throughout the upper half of the zone), and may be looted ahead of time. Use the mortar and pestle and create the weedkiller 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) NOTE: This combine must be performed in the Beasts' Domain. This step will not update if you do it in any other zone. Combine the four items in the container to produce 4x "Weedkiller". Give a dose of the weed killer to a wilting bristlepoint weed 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Found at -3161, +316. Give a dose of the weed killer to a poisonous bristlepoint weed 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Found at -2551, -422. Give a dose of the weed killer to a foul bristlepoint weed 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Found at -2996, -426. Give a dose of the weed killer to a deadly bristlepoint weed 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) Found at -3049, -108. The weeds appear as flowers on the floor of the zone (known to spawn in the zone's upper and middle sections). Their spawn table seems to be random, so just roam around until you've come across and handed the Weedkiller into all four types. Speak with Braxi Keeper Yubai 0/1 (Beasts' Domain) You say, 'Hail, Braxi Keeper Yubai' Braxi Keeper Yubai says, in Alaran, 'Perhaps I can forgive you and your kind for what has happened. Thank you. I was planning on trading this to the Domain clan for some supplies, but I think you should have it for helping.' I noticed that "Experience" isn't listed in the reward section, which it should be. I went from 18% to 19% in level 97 upon the last step, to hail Braxi Keeper Yubai.

These 4 items are pre-lootable. Once you';re at this stage these collects will not have been updated, however this is easily fixed. Simply hand the items to an npc that will return them (such as a mob, merc or Braxi Keeper himself). They will return the item to you, and the collect stage will update for that item. This is a general rule that works with most 'Collect' stages in tasks, but rarely 'Loot' stages.
I found a deadly bristlepoint weed spawning at -1073,+256, just to east of river from Braxi Keeper. Respawn time no too bad, ablout 5-7 minutes, Got update for all 3 toons in less than 25 minutes
Found a wilted bristlepoint weed at -1895, +35, near the southern Great Dark Ape camp, spawn time also about 5-7 minutes, had to smash a lothsome ape, but was just enough to pass the time, the other 2 I found in the place noted above, where several Si are near & roaming

if you do the combine and do not get the update, it is probably because you were no in the beast's domain zone when you did it.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN BEAST'S DOMAIN WHEN YOU DO THE COMBINE!
it does mention this on the task step- next to the combine step it reads zone: beast's domain.
i had just collected the parts on two chars and went to my houses to unload some alaran books to make some room to do the combine, did the combines there, no update.
hope this post saves at least one person from a DOH! moment

I petitioned SOE when combine didn't update. 36 hours later they updated my quest for me. Was able to continue and complete

If you do the combine step in the mortar and pestle and the task doesn't update, return to Braxi Keeper Yubai, and say "give" to him, and he will give you another. I thought the task was bugged when it didn't update on the combine. This means finding the pieces again, but that isn't extremely difficult.
