This task is the first in a series of three; a solo task that begins with Governor Parrin Wenst in Sarith. He's found in a building at location -600, -685, 4 (the northern room of the large building in the far southwestern part of the zone). Pre-requisites for requesting the task: - No tasks - 70 Skill Level in Alaran You say, 'Hail, Governor Parrin Wenst' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Oh, hello there, _____. I'm always glad to see another of you outsiders here. It gives me hope. I'm not ashamed to say that [Sarith] needs your [help]. Once we get the more pressing matters settled, we'll be ready for a big [mission] that I hope you will be a part of. I will do everything in my power to see that you are rewarded for your efforts.' You say, 'Sarith?' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'I was proud to serve as this city's Governor. Sarith is the greatest city state in the region, with a robust export of ocean commodities. Well, that's how it used to be. Now [Guard Captain Reles] and I are just the puppets of [High Priest Vyers] and [Archon Eries].' You say, 'Who is Guard Captain Reles?' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Guard Captain Reles is the only thing keeping [Sarith] together. I know al's frustrated being under [Archon Eries]' control, but I keep telling ali to be patient. The people need ali. You say, 'Tell me about High Priest Vyers' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'High Priest Vyers is a very intimidating fellow. If al truly is powered by [Oseka], do we have any chance to win? That other god-creature, Prexus, will destroy this city trying to get at ali. We'll be caught in the middle.' You say, 'Oseka?' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Oseka, Prexus. All these ocean gods are going to destroy my city! Is this what it is all about? A god-war? When the Orator took over the City of Bronze, I knew things were going to get worse!' You say, 'I'll help you' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Ah, yes! I'm so glad to hear you say that. It just so happens [Guard Captain Reles] and I were planning something. Well, it was mostly alis idea, but I'm doing what I can to help. Please go speak to ali to find out what you need to do. I'll send a messenger along so al will be expecting you.' You have been assigned the task 'The Governor's Plot'. Sabotage the efforts of the Orator's army by working with Governor Wenst and Guard Captain Reles. Speak with Governor Parrin Wenst 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, Governor Parrin Wenst' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'You have no idea how happy I am to hear that you want to help! I believe the Guard Captain and the rebels are formulating a plan to take back the city before the one called Prexus and his Kedge destroy it. Please, go speak to the Guard Captain. I'll be sending a messenger along with information vital to the success of their mission, and telling the Guard Captain to expect you.' Report to Guard Captain Naraind Reles 0/1 (Sarith) The captain is found in the northwestern building (location 10, 620, 0). You say, 'Hail, Guard Captain Naraind Reles' Guard Captain Naraind Reles says, in Alaran, 'The Governor's aide arrived shortly before you. This mission is the start of something big, and I personally want to thank you, as an outsider, for helping our city state. I want to get this taken care of before Prexus destroys our home. I know he's after High Priest Vyers, and to get to Vyers, we need to take out the City of Bronze military. For the rebels to have a chance, you'll need to take their equipment and give it to their leader, Ain Kavus. Find the quartermaster, defeat ali, and take what you need. I have good intelligence suggesting the quartermaster has an important missive from Archon Eries aleself. If you find anything like that, give it to Ain Kavus as well, at the drydock.' Defeat Orator's army troops 0/8 (Sarith) Collect City of Bronze equipment chests from the Orator's army 0/4 (Sarith) Defeat the Orator's army quartermaster, Gilles near the barracks 0/1 (Sarith) Take Archon Eries' plans from Quartermaster Gilles 0/1 (Sarith) Quartermaster Gilles spawns in a building just west of the city's front gate (once inside, head right; he's in the first building on your right). He drops one Deliver equipment to Rebel Leader Ain Kavus at the drydock 0/4 (Sarith) Give Archon Eries' documents to Rebel Leader Ain Kavus at the drydock 0/1 (Sarith) The Rebel Leader is in the far northeastern part of the city at about 145, -845, -4). Talk to Rebel Leader Ain Kavus 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, Rebel Leader Ain Kavus' Rebel Leader Ain Kavus says, in Alaran, 'This equipment could be the catalyst that changes this entire fight, and these plans contain all the information we could have hoped for. You've been a great help. Let the Governor know we appreciate alis help as well.' Report to Governor Parrin Wenst at the City Hall 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, Governor Parrin Wenst' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'I'm so relieved to hear things went through without a hitch. I, Captain Reles, the rebels, and all of Sarith owe you a debt of gratitude. I will make sure you are rewarded properly for your efforts. If you would be willing, we'd like your help with the next phase of this operation. Please speak to Ain Kavus at the drydock, whom you've met. Let Ain know you want to help.' You've set the Orator's army back, assisted the citizens of Sarith, and weakened the control Archon Eries has over the city. The rebel leader Ain Kavus is said to be preparing the next strike against Archon Eries and High Priest Vyers if you'd wish to assist further.
