Hello Guys,
Well, this is a Everquest Event npc, was up, and now is gone.
{I'm kinda bummed.
I know people say you where informed about this Underfoot Event and needed to do this Event, but, I stop Reading that stuff when they kept Telling people about the Everquest Fan Fair in Vegas. I don't know about you but I don't want to hear about people that are lucky to live on the East Coast getting another Fan Fair, let alone how they say it was Cheeper to book there. This kinda stuff DROVE me away from Reading that Stuff at the Everquest Web Site's.}It was to be about Everquest, and not That stuff.}
Anyways this npc isn't in game any more, and the "Quest Goal:" wasn't for "Money" like the "Quest: Homebrew Extermination Tactics" has States.
It was Needed for Early Access to Underfoot, and a Must have besides a Early Pre-order.

This task was a part of the lead-in events to the Underfoot expansion. It began with Elanna Noraka in Toxxulia Forest, south of the PoK book. The task had a six-hour time limit and an 18-hour lockout timer.
This task is no longer in the game. You say, 'Hail, Elanna Noraka' Elanna Noraka says 'I've never seen anything like it, _____. These [invaders] are breaking through Paineel's defenses and are on the march.' You say, 'What do you know of these invaders?' Elanna Noraka says 'I know not what they are, but they appear to have the physiology of a common insect. My colleagues and I have a [plan] that will play on those details, but we'll need your help to put the plan in action.' You say, 'A plan?' Elanna Noraka says 'It's simple: Insecticide. We don't know how effective it will be, but the best we can do is amass a large supply. We, however, need the supplies to make it happen. If you could [gather] the [supplies] we need to make the concoction, we'll be greatly appreciative. Or, if you just want to [kill them] directly, if that's your prerogative, that works, too.' You say, 'I'll gather them' Elanna Noraka says 'Thank you very much!' She passes the list to you for your journal. 'Don't forget any of these. We'll need them. If you ever are confused about where to get some of the [supplies], let me know.' You have been assigned the task 'Homebrew Extermination Tactics'. Elanna Noraka has been working with her colleagues on an insecticide that may fend off the invaders. However, due to the sheer size and numbers of the intruders, she'll need a regular supply of ingredients coming in. Once you have the ingredients, bring them to Elanna. You say, 'Where can I get the supplies?' Elanna Noraka says 'It's a bit of a laundry list, but we need [Crystal Nightshade], [Alocasia Root], [Gelsemium Petals], [Sarcoscypha Fungus], [Blue Slumber Fungus], and a [jar of acid]. We can't just take some of it, as we don't want to end up severely short in any one item.' Collect 1 Crystal Nightshade(s) from throughout the world (ALL) Collect 1 Alocasia Root(s) from throughout the world (ALL) Collect 1 Gelsemium Petal(s) from throughout the world (ALL) Collect 1 Sarcoscypha Fungus(s) from throughout the world (ALL) Collect 1 Blue Slumber Fungus(s) from throughout the world (ALL) Collect 1 Jar of Acid(s) from throughout the world (ALL) Alocasia Roots, Crystal Nightshade, Gelsemium Petals, and Jars of Acid are vendor-bought. Blue Slumber Fungus and Sarcoscypha Fungus are groundspawns in Lesser Faydark (Blue Slumber also drops from myconids in Old Sebilis; Sarcoscypha also drops from various fungus mobs in several zones). Viliani I`Xvoyt in the Abysmal Sea carries Crystal Nightshades, Alocasia Roots, Gelsemium Petals, and Jar of Acid.

Blue Slumber Fungus and Sarcoscypha Fungus are groundspawns in Lesser Faydark (Blue Slumber also drops from myconids in Old Sebilis; Sarcoscypha also drops from various fungus mobs in several zones).
Location of groundspawns in Lfay: Northwest faerie camp as marked on any maps downloaded from Mapfiend; one's blue, one's a red groundspawn. Just south of the Brownie Merchant.
Loc is p1100ish, 3600ish.
So its said one blue pops for every ten red. and the spawn is what 45 minutes? cleared it once waitied for spawn and no blues popped. my opinion if this isnt need to advance in any way or if you do not need it to get credit then dont waste your time.

Some 2 1/2 hours and something like 70+ ground spawns and still no Blue Slumber

This quest has a 17+ hr redo time. For 10 plat. Also prevents you from doing the Kill Them version

You can do this task and "Kill Them" at the same time. Just be sure to get both tasks before you finish one of them.
Actually... the other task is called "They Came From Below."
