This is the sixth event in the raid expedition "Citadel of the Worldslayer".
The event begins as you walk into the room. Summary Trigger the event. Kill Zun`Muram Volklana and Pixtt Kretv Krakxt. Once either one of them dies, Arch Magus Vangl activates along with Taskmistress Krisz (few moments difference). Once either of them dies, The Synarcana spawns. Fire/Ice nuker(s) tends to Taromani and Sibuncu (using fire and ice nukes, respectively, as they request it in proper order) to make Synarcana vulnerable to attacks. Casters and pets burn down Synarcana 20% at a time while melees focus on adds. You must kill the Synarcana within 21-22 minutes (from the trigger time) to win. Timer You have 21-22 minutes to complete the entire event. If the timer runs out, an AE Death Touch goes off, killing everyone instantly (corpses pop out of the room): Lord Brekt shouts, 'This amateurish display bores me. I have conquered entire worlds, bending them to my will, in the time it has taken you to pitifully flounder about in the sand.' Watch your time! Mob Spawns/Triggers Zun`Muram Volklana activates as you walk into the room: Lord Brekt shouts, 'Welcome to my chambers, fools. You've walked, willingly, into your own tomb. It is here before me that you will fight and perish for my amusement, soaking the sand with your blood as so many fools have before you. I would introduce you to my companions, but I believe you've already met. Volklana, kill them all!' Pixtt Kretv Krakxt activates shortly after: Lord Brekt shouts, 'Pfah, this bores me. Kretv Krakxt, give them a dose of your venom. Arch Magus Vangl activates once either Volklana OR Kretv dies: Lord Brekt shouts, 'Haha, well done! I haven't had this much fun in eons. Vangl, your turn.' Taskmistress Krisz activates shortly after Vangl's spawn: Lord Brekt shouts, 'This would be much more interesting if there were more players on the board. Krisz, show them no mercy.' The Synarcana spawns once either Vangl OR Krisz dies: Lord Brekt shouts, 'You'd make fine slaves in my army if I felt it was prudent to break your wills, but you've been far too much trouble. Prepare to meet your doom. No one can destroy that which cannot be slain. Pure magic. Pure chaos. Pure Synarcana.' Zun`Muram Volklana Zun`Muram Volklana hits for a max ~12,000; flurries; and enrages. He does NOT rampage at all. At the very start of the event, he is permanently rooted and has an aura around him called "Zun`Muram's Terror II": Zun'Muram's Terror II: Single Target, Magic (-1000) 1: Decrease Attack Speed by 95% 2: Silence 3: Decrease Movement by 50% Monks may be able to get around this by using their impenetrable discs before entering the room. Casters may be able to hit Volklana with long range nukes. Once he's taken to about 94% health, you'll see this: Zun`Muram Volklana shouts 'Cowardly worms! Come and fight me.' At this point, he is no longer rooted and no longer has the aura. He'll begin casting the following two spells with some regularity: Aura of Fatigue II: Single Target, Poison (-500) 1: Decrease Endurance by 500 per tick 2: Decrease Mana by 500 per tick 3: Decrease ATK by 1000 4: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 5: Increase corruption counter by 16 Rage of the Zun'Muram II: PB AE 300', Prismatic (-500) 1: Decrease Spell Mana Cost by 0% 2: Decrease HP when cast by 9000 3: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 per tick 4: Decrease INT by 400 5: Decrease WIS by 400 6: Increase Poison Counter by 99 7: Unknown #380 (100/3/0) 8: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed Zun`Muram Volklana has been slain by _____! Zun`Muram Volklana dies, both its heads slumping into its chest. Pixtt Kretv Krakxt Pixtt Kretv Krakxt hits for a max ~12,000; single-target rampages; enrages (does NOT flurry) and casts the spell "Soul Consumption II": Soul Consumption II: Single Target, Prismatic (-500) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 6000 2: Decrease Mana by 3000 She works the same as she did in Tacvi: At 90% health, she feigns death (becoming an attackable "husk of Pixtt Kretv Krakxt"), spawning 4x "an ikaav hatchling" (hit for a max ~4,000 each). Also spawning is a "reflection of Kretv Krakxt" which patrols the room, casting three single-target spells on random people and AEing "Ikaav's Venom II": Aura of Fatigue II: Single Target, Poison (-500) 1: Decrease Endurance by 500 per tick 2: Decrease Mana by 500 per tick 3: Decrease ATK by 1000 4: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 5: Increase corruption counter by 16 Delusional Visions II: Single Target, Chromatic (-500) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 8000 2: Drunk if Alcohol Tolerance not at least 50 Wrath of the Ikaav II: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 7000 2: Stun (10.00 sec) 3: Feign Death Ikaav's Venom II: PB AE 300', Magic (-500) 1: Inhibit Melee Attacks by (50%) 2: Decrease HP when cast by 9000 3: Increase Poison Counter by 36 Once the hatchlings are dead, the reflection despawns and Pixtt Kretv Krakxt appears again. This process repeats itself at 70%, 50%, and 30% health (with one additional reflection and hatchling spawn for each subsequent wave -- at 30% you'll be handling four reflections and about 7 hatchlings). At 10%, she emotes this in red: The end is inevitable, but if I must be defeated, some of you will join me in the afterlife. ...She spawns 3-4 more hatchlings and begins AE rampaging for full damage. Pixtt Kretv Krakxt has been slain by _____! Kretv's body falls to the stone floor in a puddle of blackened blood. You step back as she slashes one last time, connecting with nothing but the stale air of the room. 'This is not over. My commander will destroy you for this and when he does I hope it is my power he is wielding. Arch Magus Vangl Arch Magus Vangl hits for a max ~12,000 and enrages (does NOT rampage or flurry). He casts three spells: Gaze of Anguish II: NPC Hatelist 0', Cold (-500) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 8000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 600 per tick 3: Decrease Mana by 250 per tick 4: Increase corruption counter by 16 Mark of Death II: PB AE 2000', Unresistable (-1000) 1: Decrease Stats by 10 2: Increase corruption counter by 16 3: Trigger Cazic Touch II if not cured Touch of Anguish II: NPC Hatelist 0', Cold (-500) 1: Increase Spell Damage by 0% 2: Decrease Movement by 90% 3: Decrease All Skills Damage Modifier by 30% 5: Increase corruption counter by 16 6: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed "Mark of Death II" must be cured within about 50 seconds, otherwise the affected target gets death touched. Arch Magus Vangl has been slain by _____! Your faction standing with Overlord Mata Muram got worse. Your faction standing with Riftseekers got better. Your faction standing with Children of Dranik got better. Your faction standing with Dranik Loyalists got better. Taskmistress Krisz Taskmistress Krisz hits for a max ~12,000; single-target rampages; and enrages (does NOT flurry). She mitigates some melee damage and casts two spells: Grasp of Muram II: Single Target, Magic (-500) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 800 per tick 2: Decrease Movement by 35% 3: Increase corruption counter by 16 Vengeance of the Ixt II: PB AE 75', Magic (-300) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 7000 2: Unknown #380 (100/10/0) Taskmistress Krisz has been slain by _____! Taskmistress Krisz whimpers, her body going limp as she tips over. Your faction standing with Gladiators of Mata Muram got worse. Your faction standing with Yunjo Slave Resistance got better. The Synarcana: Spells & Adds The Synarcana hits for a max ~14,000. It does not rampage, flurry, or enrage. It is immune to melee attacks, but vulnerable to spells and pet damage. It casts the spell "Aura of the Synarcana II"... Aura of the Synarcana II: PB AE 400', Chromatic (-500) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 5000 While active, it spawns miniature golems called "a crystallized guardian" (these are charmable) as well as insanity mobs called "a diminutive horror" (these spawn in large numbers - they don't hit hard, but may present a problem for interrupting spell casting if they are not kept under control). In this event, melees should concentrate on killing the horrors while casters and pets focus on the Synarcana. Enchanters can charm the golems for added damage. The Synarcana's Vulnerability To begin with, the Synarcana cannot be damaged at all. It'll keep regenerating to 100% health with the emote... The Synarcana's ethereal form blurs and restitches itself. Shortly after its spawn, however, you will see this: Sibuncu shouts, 'Together I believe we can shatter the Synarcana's protective shell, but it will adapt and counter the attempt if we do not act quickly.' Taromani and Sibuncu shout, 'Now! Strike while you can, mortals!' The Synarcana shouts, 'What . . . What is this?' You can now damage the Synarcana to 80%. You won't be able to go any further than that (you'll see the "restitching" emote) until you see this: Taromani shouts, 'I believe we can shatter the Synarcana's protective bubble, but we will need assistance. Follow this sequence!' Taromani shouts, 'Shower me with fire!' Sibuncu shouts, 'Blast me with ice!' Sibuncu shouts, 'Blast me with ice!' Taromani shouts, 'Shower me with fire!' (NOTE: This is only an example. The order and mix of the four nuke emotes is random.) Given this series of emotes, you'd have to hit Taromani with a fire-based nuke. Then hit Sibuncu with a cold-based nuke. Then hit Sibuncu again with a cold-based nuke. And then hit Taromani with a fire-based nuke. You can designate one nuker for each riftseeker (2 total), or one nuker for each emote (4 total). Or one very quick nuker to handle all four emotes. There may be a minimum level limit for spells (Level 51 Wizard nukes didn't work while Level 69 nukes did). Also, nukes with an aggro-reduction attached can break the pattern. If the above example is done successfully, you'd see this exchange: Taromani absorbs the magical flames, her burning body glowing ever brighter. Taromani shouts, 'Good, thrice more!' Sibuncu absorbs the magical ice, his frozen body crusting over with frost. Taromani shouts, 'Good, twice more!' Sibuncu absorbs the magical ice, his frozen body crusting over with frost. Taromani shouts, 'Good, once more!' Taromani absorbs the magical flames, her burning body glowing ever brighter. The Synarcana shouts, 'What . . . What is this?' ...At this point you'd be able to damage the Synarcana an additional 20%. If NOT done properly, you'll see: Taromani shouts, 'No. . . That was the wrong pattern. You must be more careful next time!' If you take too much time to do the nukes, you'll see: Taromani shouts, 'It's no use . . . we lost the opening. The Synarcana is adapting to our magic quickly. You must be faster next time!' The riftseeker emotes occur at 80%, 60%, 40%, and 20%. You can kill the Synarcana after the 20% mark: The Synarcana has been slain by _____! The Synarcana says 'I will . . . return.' ...At which point a chest spawns with loot near the center of the room.
