Discord Tower Event #3: Stasis

This is the third event in the raid expedition "Citadel of the Worldslayer".
The event begins as you enter the stasis chamber adjacent to the Trophy Room: A booming voice echoes, 'Warning! Interlopers have entered the stasis room. Seal the chamber.'' Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'I see that you are back again. You will not have as easy a time this time.' Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'You amuse me. I will allow you to choose your fate. Chose two of my prizes to face, but spend too much time dithering and I will choose for you.' (sic) (Don't spend too much time dithering!) Summary Spawn the stasis'd discordian mobs two at a time, leaving the Flashstriker for last (kite it until the Curator spawns). Curator, Firiona Vie, and Lanys T`Vyl spawn and attack. Deactivate Firiona and Lanys by balancing them to 34% health (they'll balance themselves). Free your tanks as they get encased in stasis chambers and kill the Curator for the win. Opening the Stasis Chambers Surrounding the pillar in the center of the room are eight stasis chambers, inside each of which you see Discord creatures. Click on any two of these stasis chambers to activate the mobs inside. Do so quickly because the Curator doesn't have much patience: Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'Silly mortals. I choose them all! And they shall not be alone!' If you let this happen, you get all eight named + Curator + Firiona Vie + Lanys (wiping your raid out very quickly.) Important: Wait for the Curator's "choose" emote before opening any chamber. Also, do not click on any chamber once two mobs have been freed. Stasis Chambers, Two at a Time Around the center of the room are eight mobs encased in stasis chambers: Hexxt Chitinbreaker Hexxt Flashstriker Hexxt Shredder Hexxt Slimekeeper Hexxt Spawnmaster Pixtt Soother Pixtt Spellstriker Pixtt Wavemaster Free them two at a time and kill them. You can free any two you want, but there are advantages to certain combinations and you'll want the Flashstriker in the last set: Hexxt Spawnmaster + Pixtt Wavemaster (wavemaster's AEs kill spawnmaster's adds) Hexxt Shredder + Pixtt Spellstriker (???) Hexxt Chitinbreaker + Hexxt Slimekeeper (each spawns items on the ground for use against the other) Hexxt Flashstriker + Pixtt Soother (soother can't heal if facing the Flashstriker, which has unlimited health) You'll see these emotes as you open chambers: Pixtt Wavekiller howls with glee as the waves start building behind his eyes! The Pixtt Wavekiller's stasis chamber is opened by _____. You hear the sound of scales sliding on stone as Hexxt Spawnmaster darts forward, or was that a stampede of claws? The Hexxt Spawnmaster's stasis chamber is opened by _____. You hear an eerie chant, almost like battle drums, as the Hexxt Shredder steps from his stasis chamber. The Hexxt Shredder's stasis chamber is opened by _____. Pixtt Spellstriker hisses with murderous glee as arcane energy crackles around her! The Pixtt Spellstriker's stasis chamber is opened by _____. Hexxt Chitinbreaker takes deadly aim, weapons glinting from sheaths all over his scarred body! The Hexxt Chitinbreaker's stasis chamber is opened by _____. Hexxt Slimekeeper emits a deafening roar as globs of spit fly from its gaping maw! The Hexxt Slimekeeper's stasis chamber is opened by _____. A satisfied smile creeps across Pixtt Soother's face as all around him sigh with relief! The Pixtt Soother's stasis chamber is opened by _____. Hexxt Flashstriker claws wildly about, bloodlust written clearly on its face, even as his body seems to be falling apart! The Hexxt Flashstriker's stasis chamber is opened by _____. Act Quickly You only have about 10 seconds to open stasis chambers once you're told to. The Curator will emote the following after you kill the first, second, and third mob sets: Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'Well. You are doing better than expected. Choose again, and do not delay!' As he warns, do not delay, otherwise you get the rest of them all at the same time: Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'Too Slow. Face the remainder and myself!' Also, if you take too long with a set of mobs, you'll see this (how much time you have, specifically, is unknown): Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'You are weak. I shall finish you off along with the rest of my prizes.' ...And get the remainder all at the same time. Don't let this happen. Stasis Wake At various stages in this event (particularly between spawns), "Stasis Wake" is AE'd in the room: Stasis Wake PB AE 400', Unresistable (0) 1: Increase Mana by 2500 2: Increase Hitpoints by 2500 (Yes, it's a buff.) Fighting the Discordians Each of the eight discordian mobs in stasis chambers hits for a max ~11,000. None of them flurry or rampage. They all enrage. Some have AEs; some have other abilities: Hexxt Spawnmaster Spawns "a _____ stasisspawn" adds in waves of four (Wavekiller's AEs kill these). Pixtt Wavekiller Casts numerous AEs: Wavemaster's Chromawave: PB AE 300', Chromatic (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2500 Wavemaster's Corruptwave: PB AE 300', Disease (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 550 per tick 3: Increase Disease Counter by 9 Wavemaster's Flamewave: PB AE 300', Cold (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 550 per tick Wavemaster's Icewave: PB AE 300', Cold (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 2: Stun(0.20 sec) Wavemaster's Manawave: PB AE 300', Magic (-650) 1: Decrease Mana by 2000 2: Decrease Endurance by 1000 Wavemaster's Poisonwave: PB AE 300', Poison (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 550 per tick 3: Increase Poison Counter by 9 Hexxt Shredder Appears to be pure melee. Pixtt Spellstriker Has some AEs: Pyrilen Flamecone: Directional 75', Fire (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 5000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 850 per tick Pyrilen Strike: Single Target, Fire (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 6000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 850 per tick Pyrilen Wave: PB AE 75', Fire (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 5000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 850 per tick Hexxt Chitinbreaker Has a LOT of hitpoints; groundspawn slime clicks (courtesy the Slimekeeper) do 3% damage to it. Hexxt Slimekeeper Is resistant to melee attacks; groundspawn bane weapons (courtesy the Chitinbreaker) are helpful against it. Pixxt Soother Attempts to heal itself and others (won't do so if facing the Flashstriker). Hexxt Flashstriker Cannot be killed; has some AEs: Noc Poison: Single Target, Poison (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 15000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 3550 per tick 3: Increase Poison Counter by 42 Noc Rending Bite: Single Target, Disease (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 16000 Noc Wave of Affliction: PB AE 100', Disease (-650) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 15000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 2550 per tick 3: Increase Disease Counter by 42 Firiona, Lanys, and the Curator A few minutes after the Pixtt Soother's death (or whichever mob you chose to go alongside the Flashstriker), the Flashstriker despawns and you'll see this emote: Pixtt Curator of Discord shouts 'No. I will punish your for your insolence. Face me now!' This is a 30-40 second warning that the Curator, Firiona Vie, and Lanys T`Vyl are about to spawn. The Curator spawns in front of the doorway between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl's stasis chambers. Firiona and Lanys also immediately become active and attack. As the Curator summons from 100% health, someone will be instantly summoned (and often killed) before you have a chance to blink. Kite or offtank the Curator while you balance Firiona and Lanys down to ~34% health, at which point they go inactive. (They balance each other's health, so you don't have to be cautious about it.) Emotes you'll see regarding balancing: Lanys growls in anger as she sees how much harm has been done to Firiona and send power through her arms. Firiona frowns in frustration as she sees how much harm has been done to Lanys and increases her healing efforts. Firiona Vie Heals Lanys and the Curator. Lanys T`Vyl hits for a max ~12,000 and flurries. She casts these spells: Avatar Power: PB AE 60', Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 2: Cancel Magic(9) Lanys' Beam of Darkness: Unknown(44) 30', Chromatic (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 12500 Pulse of Pain: PB AE 500', Disease (-725) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 10999 Firiona Vie hits for a max ~12,000 (does not flurry or rampage). She casts an AE dispell: Nulling Void: Targeted AE 15', Unresistable (0) 1: Cancel Magic(9) 2: Cancel Magic(9) 3: Cancel Magic(9) 4: Cancel Magic(9) The Curator hits for a max ~15,000 and enrages (does not flurry or rampage). It summons from 100% health. Your tanks (his melee targets in general) will occasionally get banished to the stasis chambers in the room. It takes three clicks from the outside to open a chamber. The Curator has a few AEs to worry about. It casts "Curator's Revenge": Curator's Revenge: Targeted AE 100', Unresistable (0) 1: Increase Incoming Spell Damage by 100% 2: Limit: Spell(Lanys' Beam of Darkness allowed) 3: Trigger Curator's Bite if cured 4: Improved Spell Effect (Curator's Bite) 5: Increase corruption counter by 12 Curing the "Curator's Revenge" debuff will trigger the spell "Curator's Bite" on you: Curator's Bite: Single, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 12000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 5000 per tick (5 ticks) "Curator's Bite" also casts itself on you when the "Curator's Revenge" spell wears off (meaning you're going to get it no matter what you do). One defense is to leave "Curator's Revenge" alone until the event is over, since it is cast frequently enough to overwrite itself. You'll also see some emotes from the Curator: Pixtt Curator of Discord howls in frustration and starts to whip his chains about in frustration. Pixtt Curator of Discord has a gleam in his eye as he starts waving off his attackers. The Curator causes his chains to rotate. The Curator causes his chains to vibrate. The Curator's right chain begins to vibrate. "Curator's Smash" spells are based on the above emotes: Curator's Smash: Directional 100', Magic (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 22500 Curator's Smash: Directional 100', Magic (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 15000 Curator's Smash: Directional 100', Magic (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 22500 Curator's Smash: Directional 100', Magic (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 30000 Completion Pixtt Curator of Discord has been slain by _____! Firiona Vie says 'Thank you for saving us from the Curator. I did not wish to spend the rest of eternity in his clutches.' Lanys T`Vyl says 'Bah. They were not here to help us. They were just here to strip-mine the place of treasures. They are no better than the discordians themselves. I would as soon thank worms as to thank these. . . adventurers.' Firiona Vie says 'Lanys! Not that I should expect any different from you, but you must admit that in the end they helped you, no matter what.' Firiona Vie crosses her arms and glares around at the gathered beings. Firiona Vie says 'Well I for one thank you. Unfortunately I must take my leave immediately and evaluate what has happened while I was away.' Lanys T`Vyl says 'I will leave this be only for now. I will be coming for you shortly Firiona.' Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl disappear, leaving a chest behind. So my raid encountered an interesting bug with this event tonight. I'm a magician, and I was using a water pet and using companions relocation to help me position my pet behind the mob for backstabs. During the second pair of mobs I used companions relocation and my pet actually went inside one of the chambers that still had a mob in it. When it pathed out to get back to the mob it opened the chamber and released the named inside. This eventually led to a full wipe.
Pet classes be warned: be very careful when using companions relocation during this event. It's definitely possible for a pet to open a chamber if you use it without paying close attention to where it will send your pet.

Just a sidenote about these mobs -
Hexxt Flashstriker mitigates ALL melee attacks to 1 hp of damage (regardless of weapon type). I haven't checked if spell damage is also mitigated this greatly, but I'm assuming it may also hold true.
The slime clickies that can be used on Hexxt Chitinbreaker appears to inflict 2% to 3% (the slimes do not have any cooldown timers, as far as I can tell). The damage isn't always a set 3%.
