Ashengate North Event: Dyn'Leth, Firstborn of Lethar

This is an event in the Ashengate North raid expedition.
The event is triggered by getting into Dyn`leth's aggro range. Dyn`leth sighs, melodramatically, 'So, my fool father couldn't prevent you from poking your collective noses into my business. Tell me, if you cannot rely on your own flesh and blood, who can you trust? I will have to schedule a chat with him to clarify his purpose in my grand design. But that can wait until later. For now, it's time we talked.' Dyn`leth grins and continues, 'Do not avert your gaze. Cast your eyes upon the glorious Scale of Veeshan and me, its owner and master. Your first reaction will likely be fear and confusion, but soon you will come to realize that the feeling welling up within you is submission.' Dyn`leth's voice rises, 'We are a superior form of life, forged from dragon and elvish blood and much stronger than either. Our right to dominance is uncontested. You have two choices: to serve us or die. We will lay claim to the Serpent's Spine, and then spread to the rest of the continent. Any resistance will topple before our might.' Dyn`leth's voice booms, 'I am the future, and you are nothing but a stain upon this world.' 6x "an Elite Guard of Dyn`Leth" activate and charge the raid. They hit for a max ~3,500 (no rampage; no flurry). They debuff themselves of detrimental effects and also cast a spell: Immobilizing Stone: Single Target, Disease (-500) 1: Stun(6.00 sec) 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 3: Feign Death The stoic guardians throughout the area are inactive and, to start with, at 1% health. A little over 3 minutes after initiating the event and throughout the entire encounter, drakkin mobs called "a Scarlet Legion artificer" begin spawning one at a time. They approach the guardians and heal them. If a guardian reaches 100%, it activates. They have a lot of hps, hit for ~4,500 and AE rampage. Their activation can be prevented by killing the non-combative drakkins. 6-8 melee DPS classes should be able to keep them under control. After the guards of Dyn`leth are killed, the rest of the raid can engage Dyn`leth himself. He is permanently rooted and does not summon. He hits for a max ~6,500, AE rampages, and casts an AE fear: Intimidation of the Scale: PB AE 300', Magic (-275) 2: Fear up to level 0 He also has two emotes. The first one: Dyn`leth begins to draw the power of the scale around himself. Shortly after the above emote, Dyn`leth surrounds himself in an aura: Barrier of Veeshan's Scale: Single Target, Magic (-10000) 1: Silence 2: Decrease Movement by 85% 3: Decrease Attack Speed by 99% 4: Decrease Mana by 200 per tick 5: Decrease Endurance by 200 per tick 6: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 per tick The second emote: An eldritch light shines down upon Dyn`leth from the scale. This indicates he is about to go into Reflective Skin mode, in which he reflects all spells cast upon him. Reflective Skin: Self 0', Unresistable (0) 1: Increase Chance to Reflect Spell by 100% When Dyn`leth hits 75%, the drakes Luceriax and Kapka get into the action. Luceriax pauses momentarily as it assesses a threat, then flaps forward to attack! Kapka pauses momentarily as it assesses a threat, then flaps forward to attack! They each hit for a max ~4,500 and have an average amount of hps. Luceriax casts a directional mana sap: Cone of Sweet Breath: Directional 500', Cold (-500) 1: Decrease Mana by 1000 Kill the drakes and get back on Dyn`leth. As he gets lower in health, he will move closer and closer to the edge into the lava. Each time he moves, he resets aggro, so be careful. Dyn`leth, Firstborn of Lethar has been slain by _____! Your faction standing with Captains of Dyn`leth got worse. Your faction standing with Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate got better. Dyn`leth`s Chest spawns with loot. Loot from this event includes 1 Elddar Moonlocket (charm item) + 1 Mark of Ashengate (backflag) + 2 Glowing Obsidian Runes + 2 Timeworn Molds (first list) + 2 items (second list): A Timeworn Armguard Mold A Timeworn Boot Mold A Timeworn Bracer Mold A Timeworn Glove Mold A Timeworn Skullcap Mold Belt of the Vengeful Orphan Darkfell Fingerbone Necklace Dyn`leth's Elegant Belt Dyn`leth's Spy Glass Green Dragonscale Earring Mindbender's Sash Shield of Fire and Fury Spiked Brimstone Warhammer | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Have to be careful using dots, if lethar and dynleth die while agro was dropped you won't get the drops for the charm
