    The 'Snake Venom Sac' for this quest is the same low vendor item of yore. You may have long ago set your loot filter to ignore it, I know I did.

    Once I sorted that out they drop as described.

    Been doing this quest for a while with level 65 - 72 toons for faction. Most snakes drop non some drop up to 2. My guess is 1 in 3 drops one so about kill 30 snakes for one faction update. Mob poisen does about 51 points a tic at resists about 250 for all toons. Effect is less than 60 sec never timed it.

    After killing 5 snakes and looting NO venom sacs, I realised that I might as well go back to killing those animal mobs that were just "kill" and not "gather", since the reward is the same, and the quests are repeatable.
