If you plan to do this series I highly suggest you look for the evergreen leaf needed for the fourth gift quest in advance. You will be up there a lot any ways so if your boxing or in a group this will save you a ton of time when you get to that quest.

Just ran this quest series through to final turn in and it appears that the reward has been changed to a Face item instead of the earring. Different options for melee and caster and neither have the click effect.

This is one of the required series to get 6 Flawed Defiant items given for completion of the whole series. This is definitely not for beginners, as there are combines that involve a few different trade skills in just this series. Each has a trivial of 190, and the cost to get trade skill that high will take more time gathering the supplies. Its ok for an alt of lower level, when all the trade skills can be PLed up. But without the resources there will be a lot of failed combines.
IMHO, its not worth the time and plat to spend on this quest for the rewards of it.

Even though the final reward(Glowing Green Silver Earring of Dragoste) is decent with nice clicky stats boost, you should still consider before doing this quest series.
It takes much time to collect material, and if you don't have appropriate tradeskills you will have to raise them to 190+ before the combining.
Almost all needed stuff must be looted and crafted by yourself, other players cant help you or the quest won't complete.
So, if you don't mind to put a lot of time and effort, then go ahead.

This took my quite some time but I managed to get a few of my tradeskills way up, and made some decent coin selling the ample faceted lightstones.
This looks like a great quest for my wee druid, who could really use the charisma boost to help with charming all the friendly animals in TSS zones. It looks like a few of the combines would be possible skillups for my tradeskiller as well, so I'm wondering if you have to do the combine yourself or have the specified vendor do the combine for 10p. If another player can do the combine, it would be a quick chance at a skill up, since you have to gather the ingredients anyways.
I guess I can try it myself, but don't have access to EQ at the moment <cough, cough, work, cough, cough>. If no one else tries this, I'll try and update with this information myself.

Note that at this time you get a Glowing Green Silver Earring of Dragoste without stats or focus effects

Don't destroy any of the gifts you will combine them in the end and give them to Kathyrn, the hardest part for me was protect Kathryn again as the Kathryn joined the battle and killed mobs had to redo it a couple of times

Don't know why it says level 35 I am 42 cleric and won't give me the tasks
Got the text at 35 but couldnt get the first task even at 36 now. So definately require a higher level than 36. Will repost when I figure it out.
