Save the Queen #1: Ekaterina's Lament

This task is the first in a series of five. It begins with Ekaterina at location -520, -930, 23 (southern edge of the lake in the eastern part of the zone).
You say, 'Hail, Ekaterina' Ekaterina says 'Oh dry one, why do you bother me in my [misery]?' You say, 'Misery?' Ekaterina says 'My queen, my poor queen. Something is wrong with my poor queen. Why do you even [care] dry one? She is not your queen. My poor queen. She attacks even me, her most faithful servant. What has made my queen so violent?' You say, 'I care.' Ekaterina says 'It does not matter to me whether you care or not. My poor queen. If you must bother me in my misery, you can [help] me.' You say, 'I can help.' Ekaterina says 'Thank you dry one. Go to her waterfall and take some samples of the water in the area and bring it to me.' You have been assigned the task 'Ekaterina's Lament'. 1. Gather a water sample near the base of the waterfall 0/1 (Goru'kar Mesa) Task Window Says: Go to the waterfall and take a sample of the water in the area. Go to the waterfall at location 1750, 170 and nose around, and on the rocks at the bottom of the fall, your quest will update and a "Fresh Water Sample" will appear on your cursor. Return the sample to Ekaterina and it will update again. 2. Return the sample to Ekatarina 0/1 (Goru'kar Mesa) Ekaterina tells you 'Oh. I cannot tell. The water seems fine. What could be the problem? If you would like to help me [further] you could explore some of the areas to the north to see if there are other beings that are acting abnormally.' Your faction standing with Nymphs of the Windwillow got better. Your faction standing with Minohten got better. Your faction standing with Nymphs of the Darkwater got worse. Reward: Experience This leads into the next task in the series, "It Can't Be the Queen." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I have trouble to return Fresh Water Sample. System gives me a message that it is No trade item.

DId you have a pet up at the time? It might have been still on the pet when trying to trade to Ekaterina.

The waterfall is located at 1750, 170. At the very north of the river on the map.
Forgot to get the name of the flask thou sorry.

I had done a few of the quests for the dryads on the willow hill. Anyways I compelted this quest without a hitch.

Anyone else have turn in trouble? Had no trouble getting the quest, but after a couple weeks went by I decided to finish this quest but when I went to do the turn in....this quest NPC started attacking me before I even got to her. I've done very little hunting in these new zones so not sure how I killed my faction :(

i have the same problem , it seems that Katarina is surrounded by a aoe speel and my pet attacked her . so it let the pet apart and it is ok .
I can not even get the quest for the same reason. Everything cons amiable but as soon as I get close I start taking damage and then the nymphs surrounding her start attacking.
